Well folks, after several years of planning, loads of figuring and contact with several of the original crew,I will be starting a replicia of "The Justifier" as soon as the last couple parts arrive.
I'll add more to the story behind The Justifier as time goes on ,but I'll post what I know here...
Howdy folks,
As the title states,I was given a 11-C-11 power supply last weekend, the only markings on the data plate are as follows,
contract # N140-61339S-527668
Manufactured by Industrial Tevevision Inc.
serial #1107

Input power 115V @ 10 amperes
output 0-16V @ 25 amps or...
Well,I guess the title says it all, were the Ford TLB(3500 and 4500 series) industrial loader backhoes used by the military during the 1960s/1970s ?
If so,does anyone have any pictures of them in use?
I am asking because I just agreed to purchase a mid to late 60s Ford 4500 TLB and I am...
Well,I have FINALLY gotten around to starting this thread that I had promised I would start on 2 years ago!!
What I intend to cover is the necessary parts to change/replace when doing a powerplant change on a M39 series 5 ton truck,as well as the proper procedure of same.
The object of my...
Ok,I figured I would post up one of the quick external differences between a ENDT 673 Mack powered A1 vs a truck powered by the LDS 465-1A Multifuel.
It has been mentioned in several recent threads,so I thought rather than hijack someone elses thread, just post this in it's own.
As...
Well,I figured I would start a thread posting up the progress on the 2 Libby welding corp 300 amp welders I won from GSA around 1/24/13.
Both units were listed as unknown completion or running status, and I did not preview them, and I ended up winning both for a very reasonable sum.
They are 300...
Well folks,I came home this evening with a 1986 M1030 USMC KLR 250 motorcycle,Chief_919 and I did a little trading.
No pics today, too dark outside, but I should get time to wheel it outside tomorrow and snap a few pictures.
Ok,seeing as I have very little "road time" behind the wheel of a GMC deuce,I have a question to pose.......
My GMC seems to be "sluggish" when starting out, almost like the driveline is binding up or under load, It's more noticeable in high range vs low.
I know most automatics will "creep"...
Folks,
I may be bidding on a M345 trailer in Mt Pleasant florida,is there anyone that is coming to the GA rally that could swing by and tow it to the rally?
It is not overwidth, and is designed to be towed behind a 5 ton truck,it weighs 11,000 lbs empty.
PM me and let me know.
Folks,
With the masses of 5 tons and deuces of all series out there as well as the ones being surplussed, when you are checking/repacking you front wheel bearings take an extra 10 minutes to check/retorque those 20 odd spindle studs that are the main thing holding your wheel, hub and drum,brake...
While I was out working under the hood of the M52A2,I noticed some Strata Blue paint along the edges of the 383 green CARC,I checked in a few more places and it was everywhere under the current CARC and a layer of 24087.
It is VERY clean and un modified from what I can tell, that may also...
Well folks,I am at my wits end with this lube trailer,it does not have any spark at either of the 4 plugs,I have checked the wiring in both control boxes as well as under the coil housing behind the front pulley.
Everything is connected to the corresponding color coded wire (red to red,yellow...
SS member hardhead came by this morning and picked up the M38A1 jeep he bought from me a while back,no problems loading (5 ton wreckers and Ford tractors make things easy:mrgreen:) and he is on his way back to PA,hopefully arriving this evening.:driver:
That puts me down to 10 MVs now,the...

I will hopefully remember the camera this time and will post pics and video...
Well folks,Just thought I would post a few pics for those of you that have never seen the AW bed on your Deuce or 5 ton taken apart.
Before I get flamed for scrapping it,this boom is really buchered up,lots of torched holes and extra welding done, not even close to being safe to lift ANYTHING...
Well,After searching the threads and getting questions from other members,I decided to cover the cleaning /rebuild of the fuel tank selector valve used on the M39,M800 and possibly M900 series 5 tons.
First off, this valve is a common air leak in the fuel system on the 800 series trucks with...
I found this video while surfing on Youtube, stock M35A2 being run on a chassis dyno at SECO in GA. It doesn't give any hp or tq numbers unfortunately.

Hi folks,
Long story short,I have a M51 5 ton dump that was originally a multifuel,I sold the engine and trans to another member,I have a complete 6602 (radiator to trans) and exhaust.
Would the intank pump power circuit have enough amperage to supply the distributor on the 602 or would it...
Well folks, as trouble free as the 673 Mack engine usually is,every now and then you run into one that has troubles, being that Mr Murphy haunts me ALMOST as much as he does Wreckerman,I have 2 with the same problem.
A little engineering info on the Mack that you'll find under the hoods of...
