The good news is that you have a fuel burning heater kit in the box already. Well.... at least you had one when the pic was taken.
There is a section for Want Ads in the Classified Ads section as well. Thanks.
I used the Haynes manual as a guide to change mine out. It wasn't too bad. I changed them all at once. I left all of the nuts cracked until fuel showed, tightened them down, and it started right up. Make sure you give the starter a few minutes of cool-down for every 30 seconds you crank it.
Come on guys. Have a little respect for Don. He posted a serious thread for our consideration.
We have been a little lax around here. I even broke the rules when I posted my 932A2 in the forum. Sorry. My desperation got the best of me. I try to encourage people to use the...
It sure does. The deuce cabs and the early 5-tons cabs are the same size. The later 939-series 5-ton trucks are wider and won't work on the 809-series. l
From what I have read, they were popular for moving electronics and other more fragile items etc... that needed the hydraulic lift gate for easy loading and unloading.
Thanks! It looks like Chow may be able to pick it up. That will work out just fine. Do you mean to tell me that you don't want to haul a u-haul full of pipeline tools from FLW again Marcus?! LOL! My dad still cusses me about that. He says his back still hurts from unloading everything...
Anyone close by that can help? Kevin?
Even if the member isn't going to Aberdeen, I can arrange a side trip on the way home to pick up the set. Any help will be appreciated!!
Thanks for posting all of this info in a new thread. I wish I could attend. The family wants to stress that all SS members are encouraged to attend even if you won't be driving a MV.
Welcome to the site!! I'm always happy to see a fellow Hampton Roads member. We had a nice drive-in at Mt. Trashmore last year. I think we had around 10 trucks in attendance. I am hoping to schedule another on for the early spring so keep in touch.
Nice pics! I am missing some fittings on my air tanks, so that is a big help. Can you snap some of the t-case shift linkage and of the wiring above and around the transmission? Thanks!!
Have you rebuild your Haldex Pure Air Plus air dryer yet? It's a good idea to do that because a stuck...
I am a little old school in that I only like 16.00's on HEMTT's. I say go with the 14.00R20's for a better look and as Gimpy said, better power on the road.
Hey,
We won a MEP002A 5kw diesel genset at Chambersburg the other day. I would be very grateful if one of our PA members could swing by and pick that up for me.
I will pay fuel.
I would be even more grateful if that member could bring it to Aberdeen with them so we can get it there. I will...
We got one at Chambersburg the other day with the quiet kit. The paint is peeling badly on the quiet kit, but nothing a couple cans of Gillispie can't fix. It has a little more than 4000 hours on it. We got it for $270. Hope it runs!
Hi Mark,
Thanks for volunteering. There are no spaces left for folks that haven't reserved in the past. We still have our spots that we have used for the last few years. What we need to do is find out what members want spots and get them to pony up the dough so we can afford to pay for them...
