The first one is a replacement filter/burner unit for the MBU I think.. Second it the 24volt slave cable for hooking to a truck and running the burners. I am interested in both if your selling them.
:ditto::ditto::ditto::ditto: I rather drive 10 hours and deal with guys like Andrew in OH and 14 hours for Mike in Wi than 3.5 here in Michigan..:) They understand they are in sales and respect your equipment. To bad they do not get commission that would probably straighten up some other GL...
They should not be using a truck already sold for such things it no longer belongs to them. They have many to choose from that have not been sold yet. At all the other yards I have visited they use a truck that has not yet been sold or is a yard truck kept back for such things.
I bet they have...
Well if you bring my junk I can help you with fuel.. Is Syphorith along the way? If you get my motor I will help you even more with fuel. You need a M1009! Well just keep me posted and I will help with what I can. What's Glenn have for driving? Anything like a Duramax or 6BT that will do better...
I wish I did that's a great Idea! We need to make one of those! I only have one tow bar and use it on a daily basis or you could take mine and I get it when I come visit. Hmmm.. It will work out one way or another. Don't you have a 20 MPG M1009? Flying is for sissies! But if your going...
Oh and did I mention the two other M818's that need to go to NY? I think they liked our fancy paint jobs better than the Ft Drum ones? Must be the 10th Mountain Division is to hard on stuff so they opted for the 1073rd Transportation.:grd::beer::shock: Now what have I done!
I already volunteered. Lets do it Dr Dave! Plus I have "seem to have won" stuff strung out from Ohio to New York we can stop and get on the way back. Wish the M1009 would pull more we could tow bar it out and drive it back hauling and pulling my junk but I don't think it could handle the load...
Ida34 for governor! Unfortunately in certain areas they are trying to make money and bending such laws knowing you wont fight it and just pay. Its all about the Benjamens! They either get you at the SOS or they get you at DOT! I have historical plates on over 10 trucks. I drive them to and from...
Probably will not be until next week or two. This weekend is labor day and I am still piddling fixing my truck.. Been working carpentry to much ! But that is a good thing.
Where were you thinking?
I have a complete set of sides, troop seats, and bows. $150 They need some new wood in places and one of the bows is tweaked. I will not ship but might be able to get them to you via Steel Soldiers train? You can get NOS vinyl covers via Epay or check the classifieds. Someone was selling new...
It's my understanding they were all built"assembled" at the Flint Truck and Bus assembly plant. I have never seen one that said otherwise. So my guess is its a typo by GL.. Do not trust the serial numbers on the GL site. I bought two trucks that had different serial numbers than listed.. It...
bump... Just looking for someone to lift the M135 motor and trans out of my truck and set it on Westy's trailer.. Its kind of heavy and long so using a portable engine hoist will be a bit difficult but can be done.. Trying to get it done fast and safe.. :-D Or maybe a garage with a big chain...
That is a nice looking truck! And a early version too a bit more rare in that good of shape.. Welcome and congrats.. I bet its been a looooong time since you were a private huh?.. :D I mean sir!
Thanks Maddawg ! Any idea where we could find pictures and detailed info of the complete set up? It might end up a display some day. Did you see that one has a axle with ring and pinion? Did it drive itself somehow or did they just use the axle?
