I am getting prices from $1700 to $2700... Too much for what this truck is.. I would be willing to pay $1000.. Anymore than that I will have to drive out myself or sell it on site. There was not a big rush on moving it but I would like to get it home or somewhere safe as soon as possible.
Save it.. It looks to have no major rust. Lots of good hard to find parts should be on it. Like mentioned above different fuel tank and straps.. Should have a duel PTO, valve body and dump box linkage. $500 would be fair if you ask me..
Maybe when we have our Sparta party we can get it off base for him ?.. Most of them at Sparta had pictures of them running.. EUC cleared westy but I am fixing my truck!!!
I respectful disagree that they are the same.. They are not all the same.. I find the older units to be built a little bit better. They have a thicker higher grade steel,"probably more nickel?" cast greasable pintle hitch inserts and some other differences. The newer ones have welded together...
Wright Pat has always been a good site to deal with, even before Andrew started. They are second in line right after Sparta, Wi when dabbling in the GL experience..
Andrew seems to be a real good guy and helps if he can. [thumbzup] Now that I think of it I don't think I would like to find...
Steel ones sure would be heavy! I have been looking for some for my M887 but need to have 1/2 studs on the inner for the Dodge and 9/16 outer for the HUMMV rims. Nobody makes them as of yet..
Had another guy fall through on this.. Darn Uship! Anybody coming this way from this part of the country that needs some fuel paid for? I might just have to sell the old girl out there.. therefore crushing my dream of a WC52.. SOB! :-(
Shoot me some pics of it and your price.. It can be re-charged right? Sounds like it would be good for a M109 body.. I have one of those too.. :jumpin:
I need the small brass float for it.. I am going to try and save my float but if you have one that would be great. So far that's all I think is wrong with it. Them little buggers throw some heat! But they also sound like a freight train! Very loud! Do the all electric ones bolt right in the...
I just cleaned and installed a heater like m38main has pictured in my S250 shelter.. It ran fine and then sputtered out. I took it apart again thinking some more gunk came loose and found that the float is fuel logged.. Anybody know where or if there are any parts available for these? Its a 110v...
Anybody from Michigan going to this show? Anybody going to this show that is visiting Wright Pat this week and would pick up stuff for me? I have 3 MBU hotwater heaters at WP I need picked up. I am scheduled to get them next week but thought I would check and see. I have to go visit Stretch also...
If they are the original rubber lines I would replace them all and check the steel lines real close for rust... The brake parts for these trucks are pretty cheap compared to most. The rubber lines get dry rotted and will collapse onto themselves resulting in pulling, sponginess and other issues...
Yes that one has been there for a while.. I kicked it around but logistical error played a big part..
OD iron Mike picked this one up in FL about a year ago.. I am not sure what he did with it??
