Stolen 1967 kaiser m54a2 waynesburg pa

Why all the secrecy? Does he really expect someone to call the State police and ask them questions about the truck?! Why is the owner not posting if he is a member? I have done a few investigations in my time and I know what this looks like, I will make no assumptions here but look at it from...

    battery boost resister question

I am about to hit the sack so I will give the short version and pm you my phone number and you can call me tomorrow if you have a question. You would set you meter for 24 volts as usual, put one lead on the positive battery post and the other lead on the positive terminal. What you are looking...

    battery boost resister question

What you really need to do is not just a voltage test but a voltage drop test. That needs to be done on each battery and each alternator and all of the major grounds. That will tell you if and where you are loosing power.

    battery boost resister question

That wire probably burned because of a loose or dirty connection. Believe me, there is always a reason.:)

Bad news from the mechanic x)

In that case they may very well have the stuff to test the injectors BUT, I would still get a second opinion from a local shop. Remember, this is the same vehicle as the civvie Chevy trucks with the 6.2 diesel. There are millions of them out there and lots of shops have worked on them and know...

Bad news from the mechanic x)

Get another opinion, Way too many things going on there! These things are known for lifters going bad and tapping and I am wondering if that may be your issue. A lot cheaper than a pump. Not a whole lot of shops have the equipment to test injectors, is this a large diesel repair place? Or a...

Stolen 1967 kaiser m54a2 waynesburg pa

I'm sorry, not buying it. An insurance investigator from Fla. asking for information about a stolen truck in NY. but will not give out his name OR the Companies name. There should be no privacy concerns involved with recovering a stolen vehicle. The owner is supposedly a member and has not said...

Stolen 1967 kaiser m54a2 waynesburg pa

Sir, With all due respect I want you to know that we are more than willing to help but I can assure you that the State Police do not want someone calling them asking THEM questions about a stolen truck. THEY are the ones that ask the questions. The faster you get the info out there the better...

Stolen 1967 kaiser m54a2 waynesburg pa

Something is wrong here. The insurance investigator is posting about a missing truck belonging to a member. The investigator is looking for information but the only number listed is for the State police. He also does not identify the company he is working for. The member is not saying anything...

    Action shots

If you want to talk about "Yankees" in that tone and start comparing the north and south I suggest you go somewhere else. We do not do that here. I fought next to people from all walks of life to give you the right to talk like that and the right to play with your trucks without inhibition. I am...

How good is a deuce really in the mud?

I don't have a smart phone but usually the person that posts like that will say it is because it is too hard to punctuate on a smart phone. I do not text for that very reason, it is a PIA to punctuate so I do not text. Period. I am glad you pointed out that it is not the phone but the operator...

    Action shots

OK, You have a deuce with street tires out in a bottomless mud pit. I can understand that:whistle:. You are on a 45 degree angle and ready to go over and you have people in the back of the truck. That is downright stupidity! Those pictures right there are the main reason they will eventually be...

Moss covered M1009 followed me home.

With a scrap title you can do nothing but part it out.

How good is a deuce really in the mud?

Am I the only person that has trouble reading that? Smart phones are not real smart if you cannot punctuate with them. Those videos tell me that the person driving does not care about the truck. Would have been real interesting if he had snagged that loose winch chain on the front wheel. Rick

    VA Rally

As am I, I know Cabell said he was getting a disc but I don't know if that happened. I usually take a ton of pic's but I dropped the ball this year. Rick

m1009 injection pump. who knows them

Make sure you have fuel coming through the fuel filter and also make sure the return line is clear and flowing. If the return line is blocked it will not start.

    But clenching ride home

Glad to see it all worked out in the end. It never seems to work right on the first try on the side of the road does it? Hopefullymy tools list was accurate enough, I was tired last night and it has been a while since I did one. Rick

    But clenching ride home

Make sure you get yourself a wheel bearing socket for that vehicle, same as the civilian one. Has four tits on it. Allen wrench kit for the locking hub cover, External snap ring pliers for the axle snap ring, real thin screwdriver and a medium/small screwdriver for the large internal ring in the...

    M1009 won't start, Marietta.(tuesday morning)

OK, I read your post again as you asked, and I quote " the meter is on the white line between the yellow and the red". That sir is not enough to turn the starter. It will be enough to close the relay. Then you say you jumped it with a Dodge Stratus which is 12 volt. You need 24 volts to start...

    M1009 won't start, Marietta.(tuesday morning)

The indication you are giving from the voltmeter would say a bad battery. What did you jump it with? Is this still 24 volt?
