You could easily change the oil spin on filter set up on a recovery. Probably a couple of wrenches and 20 minutes would be sufficient. I got my first set the week JT offered them. I have had zero problems. Good high quality stuff.

I found 0 guage battery cables on eBay and got one a foot long. I will see how it works. Intended for Caterpillar engines.

I want to get a heavier battery cable to link my two deuce batteries. I have a light weight cable from O'Reilly but I need a heavy duty I believe. What guage wire should I be looking for? Any parts house source like NAPA?

I went with the Group 31 batteries, regular old fashioned type, because of the cranking power. I also treated the battery connectors with Vaseline on assembly to cut down on corrosion.

I think at one point JT, jatonka, posted some AmsOil filter numbers that would go on his adapters. I did not get them because I could not find a local source. They do appear to be really good filters as I recall.

I am waiting to see if the batteries take a charge. They were completely drained for a couple of weeks. I have no idea what if anything that does to a battery. After I figure out the battery problem, I will look at the alternator.
