    New from Minnesota

Welcome aboard SLR I am just across the border in ND in the Fargo area. Your choice sounds pretty good but then the M35A2 is a pretty darned good option also, keep in contact with Deuceman51 he is a great guy and certainly know a whole heap about these trucks! Keep us posted on your progress...

    Pics and stories from Iola

Losing Kevin I think had an effect on our entire community, BUT I will say when I came upon the M-123 AND the M-125 with Kevin's name on the windshield I was without words, I could not think of a better honor for one of our own! This was my first year attending the show and I was not...

    931 camper. The Arrrggh-V

When I saw your post concerning attaching the S-280 (or like) shelter directly to the frame rails my first thought was this is NOT going to work very well. Remember the amount of frame flex that goes on in these trucks, well that flex would more or less destroy just abotu anything that was...

    931 camper. The Arrrggh-V

S-280 can be a little challenging to get now days I bought one for the same purpose you have in mind and had to go to LA to get it, price was good and the unit is in great shape but shipping was expensive. It seems that most of the Comm units in the US are in that area so that is where I would...

    m35a2 Ram Air Snorkel

Interesting I used to own a Mooney plane that had a ram air lever that opened up an intake in the front of the nose, that air would then bypass the filter assembly it was good for another 3 inches of manifold pressure at 10K feet, the plane was also traveling at 170 MPH at 48 MPH??? It does...

    M923 trans shifting early

Diverman my 925 shifts somewhat like yours, what I ended up figuring out was to start out in 1-4 then manually shift to 1-5 I usually do this around 1600 rpm, min was shifting into 5th around 1400 rpm which seemed way to low! I got a bid from the Allison dealer and he gave me a quote of 400.00...

Awesome score on the 37, it looks very complete and they are truly a great truck, simple to work on, very reliable and fun to drive. My first MV was a 52 M-37, I bought it for 600.00 and ended up selling it for 1400.00 5 yrs later, gosh THOSE were the days! Good luck and keep the pics coming!! KK

    Kids in the truck question

CAV good choice on the belts, remember its NOT YOU that is going to be the problem and with the amount (it seems) of impaired drivers on the road today non of us can be to careful THEN when you have children in the truck with you? Good Choice on getting the belts! KK

    New Deuce buyer (MAYBE) Questions

Bob summed it up pretty good, but I would want to hear the engine run or in the very least make sure that is loose and no big holes in the block. Also when you do get it running check the radiator our closely as the temp comes up, radiators are rather expensive. Rust is another issue, how bad...

    PNW My new/old M923

Congrats 0352 nice looking truck and I will aslo add that your going to love it, they drive great, run really sweet and can pull a barn, BUT they do burn a fair amount of fuel, I generally average right at the 5 mpg mark with my 925! Enjoy it I have certainly been enjoying mine! KK

    MVPA 2012 Alaska Highway Convoy

Last week I saw a CCKW in Fargo with a big banner on the cargo cover stating he was in this convoy headed to Alaska, my first thought was WOW this is going to be a true IRON BUTT event in that Rig! After reading a lot more on the event the extremely slow pace I hate to say might just about kill...

    Plates and insurance?

my 925 is registered as a farm truck, and cannot be used for anything other than farm use, NO commercial use at all. The truck is registered at 51K max gross and I paid 214.00 for registration and licensing, insurance is about 100.00 more per year than the Deuce. The 900 series is one very...

    Just bobbed an M923

Justin that is a very nice bob (an I am NOT into bobbing) and the A/C is pretty interesting, I was driving my 925 back from a show last Sun. and it was 100 degrees OAT and even with every window and vent open I bet it 115 degrees in the cab, very interesting truck and it looks like you have the...
