She did ... until then. I wasn’t halfway out of the truck before “we” were discussing plans to sell all of them.
So unfair of her to blame the truck. Like a man, I took responsibility, deflecting any blame away from the innocent machine that has served me well.
Oh! That can hurt!
Standing on top of bed rail, all of a sudden not standing on top of bedrail. Don’t know or remember what lead to this unfavorable horizontal position.
4 broken ribs, concussion, badly sprained wrist and generally, a lot of pain.
1.5 hrs from home. Still have to unload 7...
Kroil was my favorite rust bolt loosener and gun cleaner until someone told me about the one penetrating oil that outperformed Kroil in a rusty bolt scientific test.
50:50 ATF and Acetone. It works, and you don’t have to be really cautious with it because of the cost. ATF and Acetone are not...
One year update.
Should have put a generous blob of dielectric grease on every electrical plug fitting. These fittings must have gotten a little oxidation on them, as I had problems from the beginning with getting the compressor to come on at all.
All of these plugs come together at the...
I look at the rating. If the 4 and 5 star ratings are close to 90%, and there are numerous ratings, (over 100) I'll give it a shot. This had 220 ratings and 90% were 4&5 star. Done.
Im not going to say these are the same as JW Speaker lights, but, ironically, both of them have 90% 4&5 star...
This may seem a bit odd at first, but stick with me.
I replaced one one of my headlights. Amazon occasionally has "warehouse specials" where a part is slightly damaged, or the box is missing/damaged. Saw this Harley Davidson Daymaker (Chinese version, I'm sure). DOT approved headlight for $17...
i used this thread to do my install. I did a write up on it as well, it answers a few questions I couldn't find in "Overs" thread. His post was a huge help to me, but have a look at mine as well may give some insight on a different way to do some of the items...
Here is the compressor I am going to use on the tan truck. It's a 40,000btu MRAP compressor. You can use the 10 rib installed clutch/pulley on an 8 rib belt, if you use 74M35A2's special bracket (not the usual A2 bracket), it will save some $ (check classified section or PM me)
I'll be using...
What kit? The complete AC system? $1200 or so
the Alternator/compressor mount kit? I forget, but I'm sure he will chime in soon and tell you.
If you are wanting to do an AC on your 939A2, Clint and I have a package special for his bracket and one of my NOS 40,000 BTU compressor for $320...
I'm sure the fine gentleman with the awesome NIB compressors wouldn't mind you sharing his contact info, he's a great guy and I hear his wife is hot and smart as Einstein too.
I have 4 left, I am putting one on my tan truck this week. Not changing out the 10 rib for an 8 rib clutch, I was...
Just curious what the 8 rib clutch conversion set you back. I like these compressors, they are serious, and the only way to go to AC a dual cab. (I know there are other ways, just a saying).
Once I get my MRAP evap unit, I'm like 2.5% of the way to having my dual cab conversion done! Then all...
No, it keeps going to the top. I always figure, "Hey bwana, If you don't want to read it, don't click on it."
I think its interesting. I learn something every time you make a mistake, or even when you do it right.
Thanks for making that mistake for the rest of us to learn. I'm secretely two steps behind you doing the same engine swap. Just kicked back watching you make the mistakes.
JK. That sucks dude. Carry on.
But, when you do get it all together, your AC compressor will keep you mighty cool, while...
