I wish you luck. Sounds interesting. If you need tires, I have 10 of the 14.00's that are in good shape and two that have cupping from highway driving. 98G has to come by here in 2 weeks. He can deliver.
Ford, that looks great! I didn't realize it was that far off center, kind of adds a cool look to it, somehow. The Diamond plate turned out really nice in that void.
Any chance of some pics of the underside, and how you braced and attached it?
Any issues with them loosing air pressure at these low numbers like 35 psi? Are you running beadlocks? I am going to in all mine. I'll tell you, I have never had such a wild bucking uncomfortable ride like I did for the first 15 minutes with these at 80 psi. It was unbearable!
It made me...
Yeah, um ... no.
Still have my two trucks to go.
Speaking of these 16.00's. We have beadlocks in them. Is there any reason to run them at 80 psi? I might have to have back surgery after driving this one back to its base last night. What a beatdown. What psi are you guys running in your 16.00's?
I also looked into it and asked a friend to go with me to check it out. Have not made solid plans yet, but, it like looks like fun. Also looks like a place that is geared toward jeeps and smaller vehicles. Some of the posts on the off-road forums say some of the trails are not for stock...
16.00's and HEMTT wheels and a full tank of diesel for a friends truck. He didn't even know we were doing it. He was at work, and we were hard at work all day.
Thanks for making these. I was driving my truck the other day and needed the cell phone adapter about 20 times. Just thinking "I can't wait for my box to arrive!" It will be like Christmas, or like phonebook arrival day in "The Jerk".
"The new VIC 3 adapter boxes are here! The new VIC 3 adapter...
Thanks Charlie 6, that could be a good excuse for an impromptu get together. June in Tulsa is beautiful ... (he said sarcastically). But, hey, could be fun despite the heat and humidity.
Is there any offroad opportunities in that part of the world or within a reasonable radius?
Swamp Donkey, anyone who says your truck isn't loved, is a fool. Kudos to you for keeping up with it.
I visited one one of my old trucks yesterday that I fixed up painted and sold, and it was a mess. All the windows were open, master switch on, batteries dead, had been run into a tree, front...
you just ruined the front of the truck for all of our OCD members! They will be cutting and grinding to make it even.
And, no, I didn't know it was off center. ... now where is my torch and grinder ...
I do think they are out there and someone who is patient can eventually assemble one.
By the the way I did find the TM for it. It is on the web, or the company will send you a link. It might be on their website. If anyone wants it, I'll try to look it up.
I put a save on the search TOCNET and a full system came up one day. I didn't buy it and I am kicking myself. It went cheap. But, who knows. If I bid on it, maybe it would have not gone cheap.
I have a crew box and a cable to your headset if anyone is interested.
