You guys type fast. The grit trees are doing very well this year, there will be no shortage of grits at the Rally. This reminds me of the Yankee that wanted to try one grit.:-D:-D
jw4x4, that year was eceptional, I had some great nuts that could be roasted. It does not happen every year. I will do my best but don't get your hopes up. Now you have to understand that regular peanuts down south mean soft boiled with just the right amount of salt. You stick the proper...
PB, I always have extra and several bottles usually travel to different parts of the Country from the Rally. I will make sure you have some to take home with you.
I probably will come in Wednesday but as the time draws nearer I may not be able to stand it. We'll see how that works out. Clinto sent the Rally folding tables home with me for storage so I will have them on site at least by just after lunch on Wednesday. There are 6 of them I think. I will...
I have a one ton Chevy I bought at Fort Stewart that has that 3+3 on it. I am not sure what it means but figured it had something to do with crew cab and 4 wheel drive.
I bought a 1978 Chevy pickup brand new and when I sanded the cab top down a few years later there was bondo found and a different color primer in that spot. There was also a new truck sold at the local dealer that had sever wear problems on the front tires. It was carried back several times...
This is going to be the best Rally yet. We just have a few hurdles to jump over and I am sure we can do that. Most of you were not even members when we had the first Rally in the State Park. Believe me, this is a cake walk compared to that. Durhamtown is great to us and will do anything to...
I assumed you had run it enough to damage the bearings is why you wanted to rebuild it. i agree with the others, just fix the pump. If you have any concerns drop the pan and pull a couple caps and inspect the bearings.
If you want to rebuild it correckly you won.t know what you need until the engine machine shop mearsures the bores and the crank and checks the rods. Everything needs to be inspected and mearsured for tolerances first. If you want to put it back like it was you may can get by with just...
All I can say is come to the Ga Rally if you want to have a good time with good people. I know I had some of those cherries, I know I had a pull from the jug, I know i rode in a golf cart with some old guy;). I will be there again this year to do it all over again and hope to improve on last...
Welcome aboard!! I have just acquired an M37 myself. This is what I think and I an not the expert. Most any good engine oil is acceptable and seeing your location you need to check on what viscosity is good for your temps. All gearcases on old vehicles usually require 90 weigrt GL 1 mineral...
Three years ago I bought 3 NOS M151 engines. They had what appeared to be a water mark almost half way up the engine. I put one in my Mutt after pulling the pan and valve cover. It was perfect and I had it running five minutes after installaztion. I sold another one to an SS member and also...
