Anyone ever think of swapping the tanks for larger ones? I have several that are approx 9x29 with the end plug and guage. Would be a neat swap. I have 2 sets with gages plus a spare. I'd sell for 100$ plus shipping for a set thru DHL. They were gaseous oxygen tanks from a military C9B aircraft...
We won a M35A2 Studebaker at Lejuene and it runs but has a fuel leak when running , anyone nearby that could check it out and tell me where it is actually leaking from before we go get it? GL guy could not remember where the leak was coming from. Would be nice to know what exactly to bring vice...
Well I know I am going to get blasted for no pics but.... Recovered Tony's first duece from Warner Robbins today. Runs great (really great), but no brakes (wheel cyl). So we towed it, bummer. Still have 3 to go: my M1028A3 from Warner Robbins, Tony's M1009 from Eglin, and his M35A1...
Well today Clinto and I got the M48 home from Shirleys Surplus. I am pretty sure it was one of the first vehicles in there as it was way in the back of the yard. I felt like a rat in a maze trying to extract it from the M35 remmnants. I know Clinto left some paint there from his truck trying to...
Anyone know who has the MV tow lights and cables? I have checked all those that I know used to have them, Austin ect. no luck and want to buy one. Thanks in advance.
I have 50 of these lines. I think they are the hard air lines for the M800 series trucks that run inside the frame. I also have the hard brake lines, just trying to determine actual end item they fit. I will post a pic when I get home tonight.

Here are some photo's from a local yard in Piedmont AL. They had several Chemical Shelter Trailers. Some totally rust free some missing minor parts $1500 each!
Does the M108 use a reinforced frame? If so do any other 2.5 tons use the same? Maybe a M49 tanker? Anyone have a few pics of the reinforcements? I have heard they look like a doubler in the middle of the frame rail and want to see one to compare to a regular duece.
Anyone have a spare PTO cover (or 2) for the transmission laying around they do not need? I just got 2 tranny's that had PTO's and now have holes where they were.
Who makes 3 color covers for a M116A1? I looked on GMA and only saw M101's. I assume I could get canvas ones easy, but if the trailer is 3 color that's the tarp I want. I am getting ready to paint and the tarp will determine the color (though I really want 3 color).
Well I used both my spare transmission and transfer case. I'd like to have spares. Anyone in GA/FL/AL have them reasonable? Also could use 1 M116A1 bow. Thanks for leads.
I know there is a 10 bolt and a 20 bolt combat rim for the 5 ton. I believe the 20 bolt uses a big triangular ring. The 10 bolt uses about a 5/16" round o-ring. What uses a smaller; maybe 3/16 or 1/4" round o-ring? I am sorting through a box of o-rings and am stumped to what they are for. :?:
Well that should get a couple hundred hits. It is new with the only possible exception may be the actuator. It was either dirty or used but it does work. It is MISSING the flexible HOSE and the DRAGLINK. I just missed a draglink on Ebay last week that went for 26$. If you need a cheap kit and...
Well here are the pictures of the "kit" for the duece that I got from the Cummins Military Systems auction in Augusta, GA. I have one seemingly complete kit and ! partial. Anyone has any ideas let me know. 7 pics total
Well now that the prices of air assist have gone up, I have a cheap alternative: I have one, and maybe a 2nd kit for sale for 1,000$ each. I can bring it to Helen if I know it will be sold. It came from the CMS auction in Augusta today. Shoot a PM to confirm if you want it.
