    Installed remote brake reservoir today

My experience is the level in the reservoir slowly goes down as time and shaking of the vehicle in moving vents the air. It then remains stable unless there is a leak.

    Lockout hubs

Dual splined axles for the deuce rear ends are common. I paid around $200 from ODiron when they had them.

    Installed remote brake reservoir today

I bought a 'double inverted' plug from Ace Hardware to plug the stock vent connection. It looks exactly like the stock connector on the end but is a solid plug. It seals just as well as the stock connector with the flared tube. If I have problems with the rubber hose, I will convert the...

    Lockout hubs

All you need is t the lock out, the axle and gaskets. The AVM lockout appears to be much lower cost than the Oueverson. Check with JT at jatonkam35s.com. That is the brand I have. Remove the stock axle by unbolting the hub, put the dual splined axle, align the locker and bolt it in. That is...

    Mitigating brake failures

I think you need to examine all the brake system at some point. Mostly, I fear a failure that I do not see coming. The brakes do not seem to suddenly fail, but do seem to fail over a period of time. BFS level checking is difficult on the stock deuce. That is the primary reason for the...

    mighty mite or m151?

There is one M151a2 sitting on a lot beside I-35 north of Denton, complete with ROPS and all. Somewhat rusty, but not too badly, they have a sign saying $7500 on it. It has been a deer lease vehicle.

    Cold weather starting

I does not get cold enough here to worry about for most of the time. If it is too cold, I am not driving anyway.:-D But, I recently saw a magnetic clamp on heater and thought about that for a few seconds. Have any of you ever used one of these on your deuce?

Legal issues with transporting "troops" in a Deuce

We carry people in the back only in parades, these are on public streets at about 3 miles per hour, and at times put children in the rear for a loop around a farm tank at extremely slow speeds with adults supervising them. If I were an insurance company asked about hauling even adults on public...

    Needin some opinions!!??!?!?!?!?

If it is licensed in Texas someone had a title. A duplicate would be easy to obtain and the seller could simply sign it over.

    Looking for RT-524

We got a M151a1 yesterday with a RT524, functioning on transmit/receive, and two PRC77 Squad Radios with it. I am getting another to put on the deuce for parade communications. I wonder what kind of FCC license it takes to be legal? Anyone know?

Checked my Primary Fuel Filter today...woah. (PICTURE)

I discarded the stock filters after looking at the rusted condition of the cans after 30 years or so. I will change the spin on primary and secondary next Spring. Not many miles but I am willing to bet lots of crud in them. Cheap and quick fix.
