Picked up lot # 6052 today. She is a real beauty. I love the big Firestone tires. also took a few more pics before the camera filled up.
The demilled HMMWV is a sad sight.
You can remove the injector, bring the piston all the way up, then snap off the the swollen plug and remove through the injector hole with needle nose pliers. This is what the HMMWV manual says to do. Fairly easy job.
I am in a pinch. I have been asked to haul some older gentlemen in my deuce and need to locate a boarding ladder for them. Maybe I can make something up.
I also could use a set of troop seats for the truck. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I'm located in Georgia
The in tank fuel pump is working fine. Thanks for the help. I will see if tightening the fuel lines and changing the filers makes any difference. It has no visible fuel leaks.

When you start this truck up it like its running on 3 cylinders. You have to hold the pedal to the floor to keep her running. After say 2 minutes or so she will come up to speed and idle, run and drive fine. It goes down the road fine .
This all starts over after you park it overnight...
Is it required to remove the whole assemblies to change the filter elements? This is what the TM says. it seems it could be done while the heads were still installed on the engine.
Any thoughts
Chuck
I have had several of these trucks over the years and have never seen one with full top bows but no troop seats. Have you ever seen anything like it ? I can post a few picke tonight.
Chuck
Freighttrain sorry I did not see your post until I got home. i believe your truck ran as it had to be moved in order to get another truck out. Not sure if it was 6041 though. None of the trucks had flats most all ran. Some have dead batteries.
The trucks were all packed in like cord...
