Mine M1009 was always around 20mpg. You could cruise at 70 on the highway no problem. People will still confuse the 1009 with just another hunting truck.
Don't have a M37 but my WC51 is somewhat simialar. These old dodges are slow. Hot in the Summer Cold in the Winter. The only MV that I know that gets OK MPG would be the 1009. All the rest are arond 10mpg or less including the Jeeps
Did I mention thery were slow:razz:?
You could go with...
Mites have never been that popular. I would say the one on ebay is the exception not the rule. A good place to look is MV magazine or some of the MVPA club web pages. Did you know a mite will drive on only 3 wheels?

They were very nice. The Gl guy, John , stated that several were reconditioned for overseas shipment that did not happen, Not sure if thats true. Last time I was on post there were maybe 100 trucks at Robins.......
On a side note notice the 1 B in Robins. That is the proper spelling...
the big box is the heater. It does not have power steering. You can come by my house if you like and get yourself familiar with a deuce if you like. We can go over one of my trucks. Take it for drive if you like.

That vvehicle is about 80% M151A2 parts. I 'm sure I read aboput this years ago. What a ripp off for the US taxpayer. Should have bought a few M151s or even one of those Yamaha off road vehicles.
