    Pics of Deuce - 9.00x20 vs. 11.00x20?

There's a photo of Clinto's and my deuces sitting next to each other after I singled mine out with 1100s. Here it is.

    M139 Restoration Project

When you finish you'll have to take that to one of the MVPA events. The judges will just die.

Where do you tap for a multifuel heater fuel line?

The fuel tanks have a tap on the fuel pump for accessories like a heater. Check for a small 1/4" plug on the top of the fuel tank. There might also be an extra fitting on the top of the tank for another tap.

    New Advertiser

Re: re: new advertiser Jeff, That's a banner ad. Not a popup. Popups are a new window that "pops up" in front of you on the web page. Those are annoying. I will say, that as a potential customer, I find your reaction to another ad on this web site as a rather disappointing display of pettiness.

    M35 Safety Strap???

RE: Re: Needed straps? I see far too many boats on trailers relying on gravity alone to keep them on the trailer.

    AC-130U Gunship up close

RE: c130 photo op The turbulance from the C130 would be bad that close. Very Bad. There's a reason that air to air refueling is very difficult. Behind 4 big turbo props and a pretty dirty airframe, that fighter would be bouncing around enough that he'd NOT want to be that close. It also looks...

    M35 Safety Strap???

I bought a pair of Carabiners in black from REI and a length of OD green Nylon webbing. A proper knot around the two 'biners and hooked up and it's more secure and strong than one of the military safety straps would ever be.

Battle Of The Bulge at Ft Indiantown Gap in Jan 22-27

Lance, I'll be there barring any problems with My Dingo. Mine will be the scruffier looking one of three that should be there. They'll all be around the same area though so I shouldn't be too hard to find. I'll be with the chaps what do 15th Recce. Light Armoured Brit Recce for 15th Scottish...

    What I found today

I was going to say when I saw the M114 and the planes in the background, that's the Pate Museum. I've been there. The M114 got welded shut when some kids got in it and rolled it down a hill into the creek that was nearby. Interesting museum to say the least.

M35A2 INSPECTION IN TEXAS-PART 2 (TEXAN SS Deuce Owners)

For front marker lights you could do what bjorn did for the clearance markers on a bar he mounted. It's a handy place for additional spot lights. For the rear cargo cover, high clearance lights are NOT de rigour if the structure is temporary. A canvas top would be temporary which is why they...

Tell me why this is a bad idea...

A standard 24-12 volt converter is going to put out 12 volts and not properly charge the battery. There are 24-12 volt converter that have settings for charging a battery and won't over charge the battery as they'll put out the 13 volts or so needed to properly charge. Newmar...

    CDL for M818

David, if you never let them back the truck, they'll never get the skills down. I've backed my deuce up to my trailer enough times that I've got the skills down so pat that I can back up to the trailer and have it RIGHT on for hook up all by my lonesome. Helps when you haver to get out 50 times...

    CDL for M818

I'm sure it does. However the woman at the office said you didn't need it for the Non-Commercial license and the computer wouldn't let her give me the endorsement. Add to that, you can drive a Class B motor coach with Air-brakes on a Class C license in Ga...soooo I'm not the only one driving...

    CDL for M818

The Ga Non commercial does not allow the air brake endorsement. I don't know if it's a computer issue or just an administrative oversight. I asked for one and could not get one even though I was ready to take the test.

    powered trailer... ?

Not really. You need the powered point RIGHT at the hitch swivel point. what you're talking about if I understand correctly is the Rubery Owen powered trailer for the 101" forward control land rover. The challenge with such a system is that the trailer can exert a shove on the vehicle. The...
