That's a trailer, not the rear unit on the Mk48 PLS. That's a 3 axle unit and it's larger wheels. The connection portion is different.
Here's a Mk48 PLS

You'll run out of fuel on a hill before you run out of fuel on the flats. I've done this. Pulled up to the level spot and at a light right as the engine died. Then scrambled to get the fuel system bled while blocking traffic at a light.
Spread the weight out on those jackstands. I have a pair of brake backing plates that I use for dropping a pair of stands onto when I need a wider base on soft ground.

How'd you fall out of the van? Misstep on the ladder?
From looking at the shop van, it looks like it wasn't up to the van itself.
20 amp fuse----24-12 voltage converter---Brake Controller===(hot & gnd)==brakes
Run a lead from the 24-12 volt converter to a second brake light switch added to the air pack for your signal which tells the brake controller when you've got the brakes on.
I think I have a source of bio-diesel feed stock. One of my local indian restaurants has to pay for their WVO to be picked up. I need to get my processing equipment, but I've got a source of stock.
If the motors are working well, I don't think they need to both be functioning. It'd be neat to add a small valve to shut off one side. A good thing to do when you replace the hoses is to squirt some silicone lube into the air line and then run them for a bit. I did this and mine run nicer.
They may have poorly adjusted FDCs or pumps. Gasoline/Petrol will have LESS heat per unit volume, so it should not burn pistons. More likely it should cause problems for the fuel pump as it's working on dryer fuel with little lubrication. but with Diesel in it, it should be fine. I'd see about...
