    3..2..1..Eureka!

RE: Bjorn, back on the road again. The semi probably couldn't see your deuce parked there in the dark. The dark paint and minimal reflectors makes them very inconspicuous. See if you can put the injectors in some kind of container individually with a solvent. Something fixed to the cargo bed...

    11.00 x 20 Tires

Andy, for $45 ea, I'll have to think about this hard. 8 hours isn't too far away. I could use 8 tires for my deuce to go to singles.

    Explain Multifuel

You can get a compression ignition engine to work on a lot of fuels. It just takes tuning the engine for that fuel. The first Diesel Cycle engine ran on peanut oil as I understand it. The Multi fuel works on two points. 1. the Combustion head. Aka the Hyper Cycle Combustion head process. It...

    Two small projects completed

RE: Re: RE: Two small projects completed yeah but then he'd have to rig headlights up on the trailer and change the red composite lights out for amber ones! ;-)

    What model trailer is this?

Probably not for a gen set. It looks like an M514 Trailer with torsion axles. But the tongue is all different from my trailers.

    What is the plastic bottle????

I had a friend that was told by a cop to pour out a can of cheer wine. Cop said "It says "wine" on the can right!? It's Alcohol! Pour it out or you go to jail!" Never mind that Root Beer had "Beer" on the side of the can, but everyone knows that ain't alcohol. And Ginger Ale isn't Ale either.

    New M35A2 owner

I think you're technically supposed to take the Bypass as a truck. I would if it were in the middle of the day. Avoid Atlanta around rush hour. It's bad. I'm inside town on the east side over near I285 and I85. You're welcome to stop for a pitstop and breather if you like. There's a good stop...

trailers that can be used with the M983 HEMTT tractor

How do over the road tractors not have to deal with a trailer twisting on the single axis 5th wheel vs the military 2 axis 5th wheel?

    lock up deuce brakes

RE: Re: RE: lock up deuce brakes I've locked them up a few times just to test the brakes in as a sanity check at empty intersections. There's usually a car or someone behind me that looks up in fear as they pull up next to me.

    Batteries?

Ok, I have a shorted cell in one of my 2 Batteries. Should I go with Optimas or the standard 6TLs? I can get the local batteries plus to match the $130 for 6TL's from Interstate.

    DISCUSSION - Slobbering Multifuel Cure?

Why not install three or four smaller fans to get the clearances you need? You could stagger them to turn on at different temperatures for finer control of the temperature.

    Pup Wagon Trailer...

I saw this on e-bay. It's a pup/wagon trailer. Green even. Looks MV compatible. http://cgi.ebay.com/Flatbed-Pup-Trailer_W0QQitemZ180017238586QQcmdZViewItem

detroit locker in the rear axle(s)

From what I've read, you want to engage manual diff locks only when you need them. A detroit on one rear axle would be fine on one of the driving axles with the other ussing a selectable air locker. A selectable air locker on the front would allow you to get the different tire speeds you need...

detroit locker in the rear axle(s)

M1075. Yes. It would lock up one side as the other was slipping and you'd have 3 wheels driving. Non-Selectable locking diffs are a bad idea up front, although I guess with the air-shift it might not be an issue, I'm not sure what a detroit locker would do if the hubs are engaged but the input...

detroit locker in the rear axle(s)

Ok, who's talking about what kind of locker? Air Locker = Air powered Diff Lock Locker/Detroit Locker = Automatic Differential Lock Locking Hub = selectable lock at the Hub for egaging/disengaging that axle Air shift = Front axle arrangement lever (as opposed to a sprag) Wouldn't the ideal...
