actually NAPA does have the wheel cylinders, but they are about 3-4 times the price of one from someplace like Saturn Surplus, where they were about $35-40 last I checked
I too had to go with that wiper setup until I could lay hands on an original wiper arm and blade.
I work for NAPA, so I spend a lotta time trying to see if there was a better way to go on the wiper (My duece was missing one arm when I got it)

Amd Polverone, yeah, most of the Alcan is paved now. The Canadians take their highway maint very seriously. The trucks and equipt you see them using to patch a section of road would squish a duece without noticing.
