    Latest WC-57 progress shot

CC Seat They do look similar. I am working in Mississippi but can send you a pic or two when I go back to Texas in June. Your body looks real nice, mine needs the floor re-done and I'm no welder.

Leads on a CCKW or AFKWX Bed?

Sorry, wasn't thinking. I realize they're rare so I jut thought I would throw it out there. CCKW 353 is what I'm looking for, or the 17 foot bed.

Question about picking up a deuce...

OK, does anyone have a hauler/transporter they would recommend? Preferably in the Tex/OK area? Reading all of these replies has changed my mind to having a truck delivered if I should win one.

    Neat use for a Director's Trailer, M17?

Sorry, common reference to the M7, M13, M14 trailers which had built up enclosures for use in Anti-Aircraft units in WWII. This is more likely an M1 or M17 version which commonly carried generators, misc. equipment, or the Quad 50 Mount.

    Neat use for a Director's Trailer, M17?

Sorry for the poor quality of this picture. I thought it was neat seeing a WWII Director's Trailer being used to haul a Buffalo around in Germany in 1956. The unit was the 510 Tank Battalion, 4th Armored Group. The picture is in the Squadron HQ of the 1/10 Cavalry( Buffalo Soldiers ). Oh yeah...

    The first post-war power Wagon???

Could this be it? Probably not, just another derelict 3/4 ton WC that is following me home. It should provide some good parts for another restoration. I was hoping to use the gas tank until the junkyard hired help ripped open the bottom with his forklift.

    WWII Fruehauf Fifth Wheel?

Not sure, I'm taking the "deuce and a half" term as a generic big, Army truck term. Not sure the seller knows much about military vehicles. From the stamping it appears it could be from 42, but I know it won't fit on one of my Dodge 3/4 tons!

    WWII Fruehauf Fifth Wheel?

Anyone know if this is World War II? The seller says it came off a deuce and a half and was made in April 42.

    Bradley pics

The pics from Iraq are A3's, notice the CIV's all in stowed positions. The pics from Yuma are ODS Bradleys, most likely ODS-E's.

    Width of a WC51?

I am looking at buying a trailer that is only 6ft. 6 inches wide between the fenders. My question is will a WC51 fit between these fenders? I know it will be close and I am out of state and can't measure mine. Can anyone tell me the distance from outside to outside of the tires? Thanks
