There isn't anything from another vehicle people have found that would work? Im surprised due to the cost of these things. Mine is shot, bottom is rusted out.

If I remember right, I read the bed was 53" off the ground, so its around 55ish now? My deuce didn't come with a bed, planning on building one also after mounting XMLs. Really like what you've done with your truck.

do your tires hit your bed during off roading?

mine doesnt even have on it.... nor did the one i stole my wire harness from, and the 3 i took at peak at the fire station....

anybody have problems with the switch leaking air? As soon as i start the deuce, all the air escapes out the two holes on the side of the switch edit. finally found what i was looking for.

Is there anything you can do with a switch that is just blowing air out of it?

last two weeks- New/old -hood -door- -wire harness, front and rear -paint -two brand new windows -just finished getting the air t-case mounted about 30 mins ago. still need to put the new exhaust on, finish up the t-case swap, put the dash back together, replace a bad wheel cyl

hmm yeah my doesnt have that. and my starter doesn't look like that either. Got it to start up using the switch, start putting the dash back together, and see if i can get the lights to work. When i got it, they had rigged a 12v light system on, shortly after taking the dash apart i figured...

alright alright! got it! TM 9-2320-209-20-2-2 helped.... i was grounding #74 around the starter area. hooked it into the main power feed, and wala ! still dont have a Starter Relay? unless its part of the solenoid?

TM 9-2320-209-20-2-2 diagram, it has the more appropriate numbers that were not the same in the others, awesome thank you. the wire number chart and the other diagram is what i was using before, and just wasnt helping. one problem i found.... BOTH of the terminals off the tank sending unit...

Do all deuces have these? I just replaced the wire harness in my deuce, taken out of another deuce personally.... got everything hooked up other then the gauges, and i get nothing for power. Trying to look at all these diagrams and troubleshooting documents and they all have a starter...

when you say "with driveshaft" is this because the one with the sprag unit wont work with the air, or because yours was damaged/missing. Picked up a air shift a few days ago... going to tackle this project in a few weeks... trying to get all my ducks in a row so i dont have any surprises.

been lurking around here, new to the site... my only opinion to make this a better place- pictures are annoying. having to click on each pic to see them at the END of the post , and they are small... every other forum on the web you can throw your pics in right in line with the text...

where are you guys buying the new cable from? privious owner cut the cable on mine on my deuce. searching around i came up on this- http://www.mpmilitary.com/cpage.cfm?cpid=506 any input?

where can you source parts for these if you dont have a junkyard local? ball park figure on cost?
