    M932a2 oil pressure

Check it with a manual gauge and see what you've got, don't trust the factory electric gauge / sender.

    M1079 Right Front hub failure

How long do you have after purchase or pick-up to make a claim with GP? I've heard that they were good at reimbursing money for claims.

    BOH FPU delivered

You would have an easier time hearding cats than backing that trailer up. Might be able to find a farmer that could back it up, similiar to a hay wagon. Cage the brakes and steer it with a skidsteer or never pull in where you can't pull out.

M923A2 air warning buzzer starts less than 120psi???

Faulty low pressure switches on the primary and secondary air tanks can cause your low pressure buzzer to alarm even when there is enough air. You can make a Packard jumper connection and temporarily jump either one or both of the switches when your air pressure gauges are up on the dash to...

30k Fuel Fired Arctic Heater Installation

FYI, Here's a few pics of the arctic heater install in a M939 series truck. Also showing is the exhaust tube routing of the heater.

30k Fuel Fired Arctic Heater Installation

The M925A2 that I had with the 30K fuel fired heater came with it already mounted, somewhere I have some underhood shots of the mounting. It had the Facet style cylindrical style fuel pump that fed it and it was tee'd off of the main fuel line near the tank with a quarter turn brass shut-off...

30k Fuel Fired Arctic Heater Installation

My heater melted the plastic covered cables under the dash; however it did feel nice and toasty.

Sorry to hear about that, sad that history was just lost. Hopefully, nobody was hurt or injured.

Need title advice on 3 Military trucks I currently possess

Is there any reason that you can't just get titles in the name of the person that the SF-97 was originally assigned to and then use the POA to assign the titles to yourself? Local LEO's should be able to complete a law cert. if California is requiring one. Some states recognize the SF-97 as a...

SW 60k BTU Multifuel Heater, Not Working, Won't Light

#1 diesel is same as #1 kerosene, ULSK (ultra low sulfur kerosene) and aviation turbine fuel. It's all derived from light distillate from crude fractionation versus diesel distillate. Turbine fuel used in jet planes has the tightest specs. for smoke and freeze points, color and particulates. If...

SW 60k BTU Multifuel Heater, Not Working, Won't Light

How long are you holding the start button? On my M925A2 with a 30K btu fuel fired heater, I would have to hold it in the start position several minutes (seemed like a long time) before it would take off. It would stink and smoke before she would fire, once it started to sound like a little jet...

    CTIS LEAK 931a2

Remove the CTIS temporarily from that wheel and screw a schrader valve inside the valve stem and see if the tire still goes down. If it still goes down, soap around the studs holding the wheel together while the tire is laying down, you might see bubbles there indicating an o-ring leak and...

    M1079 Right Front hub failure

Each front hub should have around 13 ounces of gear lube in them as Shark Bait mentioned. Doesn't Gov Planet check everything out for their auctions? Good luck with your claim, keep us posted.

No electrical power except to low side blower motor

Disconnect the 2 small wires on the front of each solenoid and you will need 24v DC to energize the solenoid to pull in the contactor inside. With the ohm meter connected to each main lug on the side of the solenoid it should go full scale indicating continuity. The copper disc inside the...

No electrical power except to low side blower motor

Energize each solenoid separately when the PCB is disconnected from the truck and use an ohm meter across the main lugs and check continuity. If one of the solenoids are bad it can be replaced if that's the problem.

High trans temp on M944A1 - M939 chassis - after short drive

Same sender as coolant, if you can put your hand on the trans. pan, it's not too hot. Check it with a I/R gun or camera and see where you are at or swap trans. senders / gauge wires with coolant sender / gauge.

M939A1 Series WHERE in TM's wheel splitting?

Easy to do with a 3/4" gun and impact socket, a little soap and water around the rim and use a duck bill hammer and tire spoons to separate. Or take it to a tire shop and watch how easy they make it look, they usually don't charge much and can show you some pointers if you want to try it again.

    M923 with No alternator output

You should be able to just swap pulleys, put the serpentine pulley on the alternator that you're using on the 8.3. Brackets are different between nhc250 and 8.3, alternators (other than pulley) should be same.
