    ECU generator trailer

Just picked up this ECU trailer. It's a TMSS100T, made in 2012. It only has 41 hours on the generator and 29 hours on the A/C. Seems to be really clean inside and out. My question is in regards to the generator. It's an Isuzu BV-4LE2, 18KW. I've been trying to find information regarding the...

Need advice on purchase of an ECU trailer

Need advice to purchase an ECU trailer I'm looking to purchase an ECU trailer. Looking at this one. Its a PU-822A/T from DHS systems. Anyone ever had any experience with this type of ECU? Anything I should look for or avoid? It was built in 2009 and has about 300 hours on it. Any thoughts would...

    AcuTemp Refrigerator

Yesterday I looked at the unit I bought and it didn't have any of the cords, manual, etc. I wasn't able to pick it up yesterday as I wasn't driving my truck. So today, I went to pick up the unit and the supplier had received 8 more units. All of them new, unused, complete with power cords...

    AcuTemp Refrigerator

Thanks for the help Gimpyrobb, I did find the #'s for both the AC and DC cords. I contacted the manufacturer ( CSafe ) and they priced the cords at $123.80 and $135.36 respectively. I was hoping I could find them a little less pricey or even the fittings to make my own cords. Any thoughts...

    AcuTemp Refrigerator

I just got one of these units, unfortunately it didn't come with either of the power cords. I have a call in to the manufacturer. Anyone know of a source or just the connectors so I can build my own cable?

New to me M Gator A1

Thanks for your input Fuzzy, I still haven't decided if I'm going to pull the trigger on these 5. I understand the MV world, I'm not looking to make money on these, just don't know enough about them to make a informed decision. They sure are cool though. Thanks again

New to me M Gator A1

I have an opportunity to buy a few of the 2005 model A1 M Gators. probably one or two that would run with very little effort and a couple that would be parts only. My question is what are these worth running and driving? are they worth putting money and effort into? or is it just a labor of love...

Off topic...... MBU as camper cook top in my LMTV Camper

MBU's are a great, safe, somewhat efficient source of heat. I would never use one inside of your vehicle. They can put out a tremendous amount of heat. I've used them for a bunch of years on our MKT without issue.

    Help identifying this generator

The panel certainly looks original to the machine. I couldn't find any manual online that seems to represent this generator. I know that it was used by the DoD, but thats it. I'm not sure which agency etc. I know I can probably just cut the wires, but I was really hoping to find out what it was...

    Help identifying this generator

I picked up a couple of these generators and noticed they were a little different. I need help identifying what they were used for, how can I find this plug and can I convert it to a standard 110 v outlet plug. I put some fresh gas in it, topped off the oil and 2 pulls later it was running...

    M1079 additions

We are continually working on our truck and I thought I would post the newest addition. I have some contacts at our local High School and got in touch with the director of the Ag-Science program. Some of his Students needed a project, so we left the Truck with them for a couple of weeks and...

    New (to us) M1079 A1

Mark, No, I wasn't able to make it, I had other commitments. Since I quit teaching there it's been more and more difficult each year to go. It was a great fundraiser though. I don't have any contacts out there anymore, I would love to go back out there next year. Give me a reminder text when its...

    New (to us) M1079 A1

I appreciate everyone's input. I'm pretty sure we will be keeping it. Who knows, maybe a few years or 10 or 20 years from now we will sell it. Hopefully we will make a profit. If we don't, we at least had fun with it. Our Scouts have experienced things that not that many people have. I think...

    is this normal??

Sorry, I was being a little sarcastic. Yes, We did flush it, everything seems to be working ok, fan clutch comes on, etc. We ran the truck for about an hour the other day and she stayed cool the whole time. I just really couldn't believe the amount of sediment in there. We also installed a...

    New (to us) M1079 A1

I must be out of touch on the value of this truck. We currently have 37 young men in the Troop. with 6 - 10 graduating every year, we would have to have quite the investment manager to have that many scholarships available every year. Unless of course this truck is worth 50K. I do appreciate...

    New (to us) M1079 A1

My Scout Troop just acquired this M1079 A1. Our thought was to use it to haul our MKT that we use 4 or 5 times a year. I'm not sure on the year model yet, Some of the paperwork says it's a 2004, other papers say 2006. It seems to be fairly complete and in really good condition. It has 1258 miles...

    MKT gets a workout

It was fun, It's amazing what you can cook in one of these. Serving 140 a meal was no problem. Good food too, no hot dogs or chili mac on this menu, not saying anything against simpler food, but it was great to stretch a little and make some more difficult foods. Only one complaint, apparently...
