Anybody got a flywheel for a deuce that's goin down to haspin?I'm probably gonna be heading down on sat depending on how much i get done around here before then..
My 12 volt alt kit draws very little power.it uses a 10si delco alt..it is not noticable ..if you do both of kits both alts have less rotating weight than the stock gen.
Ya I'm getting more back round on what's been done to it before I got it.I checked the ip and hh timing the ip was off a little so I adjusted it but no change.I have the crank pointer on 20-lds and the marks lined up under the four bolt cover and the hh mark is one tooth to the rear of the...
Ok i checked the ip timing ..It is right on now but still no start.. SO i'm guessing the hh is 180 off.Which makes sense why it won't start on it's own or idle.. Due to the timing being off causing the fuel not to fill the cup in the piston.. Instead it would fill the cylinder and cool the...
Ok i am having a similar problem with a truck i just purchased...When i got it the pistons were melted.. so i tore the engine down and replaced the pistons and liners... i know they melted the pistons spraying to much ether to get it started....It will only start if i give it a shot of ether and...
ya i need the measurement from the top of the troop seat to the bottom of the bow corner..Good thing i got some pics..You take pics like you get detoured everytime we stop for fuel...Which way did he go george which way did he go?I figured out what i'm gonna do with the truck.. i'm gonna fix the...
Yesteryday Me and Nathan -eagle4g63 took a ride down to kipman's place to pick up a m35a2.It turned out to be a long day.. We left out at 7 am and got down to kips around 3pm we hooked up the tow bar and got loaded up .We hit the road for the long slow ride home..We ended up pulling back into my...
The big junk yard around here has a frame cranes they let you use to pull engines ..They have huge swivel casters with car tires on them.... They are not really any wider in any dirrection but they are very stable ..They actually push or pull the whole contraption around with the loader or a...
Did you check the firing order?Bad mix of gas-diesel fuel..?Weak spark or bad cap and rotor?Issues felt under heavy load are ussually spark related... but if you can't figure it out just swap in a hemi and you will be burning the tires up
Correct me if i am wrong but didnt the 900 series trucks come with a 12 volt system on them?I thought they had a dual voltage alt or converter on them...If so all you would need is a standard brake controller
Sounds like a good build ..Older crew cab dodges are hard to find.. but if done right it could be a worthy use ....I do have a little advise on your electrical system..Do not pull 12 volts from just one of the batteries even just for a small load...It will make the batteries charge unevenly and...
Looks nice how much will it lift? Not sure why you need it i like your other method.....Flip truck on its side then roll items in the bed and flip truck back over and go?
From the sounds of it you had a head gasket let go ... Which would explain the higher temps you seen then it would have hydro locked the cylinder breaking the rod?Or in other words you have been gimped? At least you were close to home and had a dodge to save the day
