So we get a m1009 in the shop to do a flywheel.. i swap the flywheel ..It had no leaks when it came in.. My boss raod tests it when he notices it isn't shifting right so he pulls the air cleaner and checks the vacum tps where he notices it wasn't hooked up so he hooks it up and road tests it...

You can run two 12 volt items off 24 volts but they need to have the same resistance at all times to you will fry them quickly..If at any time you are not putting the same resistance to both of them one can reciece the full 24 volts and car radios and amps don't do good on 24 volts..You can do...

You could use the small wire that has weather tight connector to a 24 volt relay to turn on the 12 volt alt .. or you can go with a one wire 12 volt alt or just run the red wire from the two wire plug on the 12 volt at to the main lug on the 12 volt alt .. With the wire red wire run to the main...

Ok guys the deal fell through on the truck i was gonna use to proto type the kit ..I have the alts and pulleys if there is anyone with an a3 that would be interesting in leaving it with me for a few days so i can make the brackets and jig i will give you a set of brackets and alts all installed...

Ya my kits have been selling like crazy cuz the price of stock gens are so high.. you can do three of my kits for that price?For some reason i had bad luck with the stock gens maybe i was expecting to much from a 40 + yr old part?

ya i have heard of the brackets cracking?I'm not making upgrade brackets.I will be making brackets to put a 27si delco alt in place of the stock alt.. They are more cost effective and easier to find than the stock one plus this will get ride of the cracking bracket problem ..And i will be making...

Hey Guys I'm gonna start making some 24 volt upgrade alt brackets for the a3 as well as 12 volt add on kit for the a3.. I'm gonna start working on them next week.. I've had great luck with the dual purpose blue top batteries from autozone..They act like a deep cycle but can charge like a normal battery.. They have top mount posts and threaded posts like a deep cycle.. They are around 100 each but they take a beating

I had one of those 1/2 ton cranes on my pickup for yrs. It worked great no issues. I used it for loading engines,trans, and other things i was scrapping. The unit i got had two pieces of angle that went underneath the bed.. I doupt you would ever bend the bed before you broke the crane...

I had asked about the driveshaft when i talked to the guy that built the first one pictured . He said he had no issues with it..It makes sence since the wheelbase is pretty much the same as a m275. I talked to the guy that built and owned the first one he said it was awsome offroad no issues..You have to remember the deuce has almost 7000lbs on the front axle.. The front has more than enough weight to keep it planted.. Offroad the rear would probably slide before pushing the fronts
