Pulling the fuel pump wire would do nothing to stop the truck from being started/run. The injector pump will suck fuel out of the tank & you will experience no difference in power/starting abilities unless air gets in the line & you would need to bleed the fuel. I learned this the hard way...

I just replaced all of my leaky injector return lines.....VERY EASY! (thanks DOGHEAD!!!!) All you need is 1/4" outside diameter air brake line & new farrels & inserts (use brass, NOT plastic). You should replace all of them at once if you are going to get diesel all over you anyway.

They are? The 3" socket I have uses a regular 1/2" ratchet & I just tightened by feel. How many lbs of torque should I have used?

What is it a lube trailer or dolly? I bought a lube trailer there, but I am having mine shipped. I would post an ad on uship.com if I were you (thats how I booked someone).
