Did you plug the drainhole on the bottom? You are only supposed to do that while fording water.....if you plugged it, you probably messed something up.

This trailer appears to be an M211 which has had the cab/engine/front axle/etc removed & the frame bent into a "V" in order to make it a trailer.
It is one of a kind & will support MUCH more weight than you will be able to put in it.
A couple things to think about....

Pulling the fuel pump wire would do nothing to stop the truck from being started/run. The injector pump will suck fuel out of the tank & you will experience no difference in power/starting abilities unless air gets in the line & you would need to bleed the fuel.
I learned this the hard way...
I just replaced all of my leaky injector return lines.....VERY EASY! (thanks DOGHEAD!!!!)
All you need is 1/4" outside diameter air brake line & new farrels & inserts (use brass, NOT plastic).
You should replace all of them at once if you are going to get diesel all over you anyway.
What is it a lube trailer or dolly?
I bought a lube trailer there, but I am having mine shipped.
