I seriously doubt even IF a GL employee could access the numbers, that they would have the ability to program a blank card with them (card reader, pc, etc required). I would say it is a coincidence. 2cents

I spoke with the owner of International Title Service about it. I just ordered an Alabama title through him & was concerned about his ability to obtain titles for M1009s (since they would have to be done in Maine). He told me that "Maine has stopped issuing titles for AM GENERAL trucks ONLY" &...

FYI - The state of Maine is ONLY not issuing titles for AM GENERAL titles. Just put "Jeep" or "Jeep Corporation" and it should go through fine. 2cents

My feeling is.... If someone wants to steal it, they will. Its up to you to make it hard on them. Personally, I like the emergency brake lock; battery disconnect switch; and the good old fashioned CHAIN through the steering wheel! :mrgreen: 2cents

There is no difference between a XM818 & a M818, other than that the XM818s were built first (while they were still in "experimental" status....hence the "X" prefix).

FYI - The cause of this leak were the injector return lines! VERY easy to fix & all thanks go to Doghead for telling me what to do! [thumbzup]

When it is in the "on" position, it will hit the shutoff cable if it is still pulled out. 2cents

:ditto: "Steep" is a widely misused term. The steepest roads that I have been on here in the East is outside Asheville, NC & in upstate NY. But....they dont compare to somewhere like Pikes Peak out west I dont think.

One of the 813s I just got was shipped from Germany & since 1991 the govt put a whopping 32 miles on it! HAHAHA

Both my 818s run 59mph up or down hills. Pulling something they drop to 50 mph up hills though. GPS confirmed.....500 miles in each.
