    Radio Equipment in M925

Blue Force tracker was used to monitor the real time location of friendly forces overseas. Kind of like a video game of chess, only involving real soldiers. It helped cut back on "friendly fire" scenarios and allowed HQ to move the pawns where they thought they needed to be...

    Year for title

Those Air Force deuces are definitely some of the nicest, on the whole. They're the newest, usually well maintained and lightly used. They also have the dual brake circuits. Now in the unlikely event that this one has air assist steering you'll have the Cadillac of deuces....

    Year for title

If I remember correctly all 87-88 M35A2's were Air Forces deuces. It has the highly sought after dual circuit brake system. Nice find.

    Snow-Deuce (Chesuncook Lake, Maine)

That truck is the definition of a homemade redneck rig. Those look like custom made tracks on the rear and the front skis are homemade out of 1/2" plate secured using load binders.

    Year for title

That's "close enough for government work"

Was on the Side of road. Fuel primer location on M931A2, Found.

Figured I'd attach my picture, of the bleeder screw, just for snits and giggles.. The primer button is the big red button in the center of the picture. The arrow points to the bleeder screw.

M931 right rear wheels not turning

Ditto to the stuck rear brakes. The M931/932 are notorious for this. I think the rear drums being exposed to the elements allow them to stick easier than the cargo trucks and the lack of a weight, associated with cargo bed, make them harder to unstick afterwards.

    M35a2 trailer

I've got a 10 ton pintle pull trailer I've setup to pull behind my M932A2. It could handle two civilian vehicles no problem. I'd look into a 5 ton, versus the M35, for towing the weights you're looking at. Optimal tow rig would be a M915/916/920. There's a couple guys around you that have...

    What is this part?

Count on it. Personally I don't think you'll need to worry about what those wires are because the IR lights will be long gone.

    What is this part?

No, the HMMWV in the picture just has a cold..

    What is this part?

If it's the two plugs, on the rear of the left IR light in the center of the grill guard, that's the power wires for the light.

    Deuce worth the money?

Just be aware that hours and mileage shown mean nothing. When speedometers are replaced the mileage now shows as zero. The surface rust on that rig looks about average, for a non show truck that's 35-45 years old. Especially one from an area that salts its roads. The fact that he drives it...

    Bob driveshaft length?

Anything is possible but I haven't seen the EPA set up shop in any of the swamp buggy guy's a$$es around here yet, when they crash their contraptions while their being trailered, so I think I'll be ok. Besides, if the feds want to screw with you they'll find a way and there's not a lot you can...

Tractor V tread AG tires M52A1

Tires are 28L-26. I didn't lift it but I did have to trim the front fenders a bit. Without the lift the backspacing on the front wheels is pretty ugly, due to the steering gear box. If I go full hydro steering I'll probably redo the front wheels to tuck them in more. I'd rather do that that...

    Bob driveshaft length?

Fuel tank's in the bed. My F-350 on 38's is the street / mud truck. The 5 ton is for getting to places the F-350 can't go...

    Winch Controls

The only difference in winches, according to the TM, is that the M936A0/A1 has the level wind device on top of the winch; whereas M936A2 do not. Operators TM-10 (2-22) Page 219.

    Bob driveshaft length?

28L-26s cleared so I think I could fit some 53's on there no problem

    Offloading Tracked Vehicles

I think even with ROPS, a tumble down an incline like that will result in significant injuries (both internally and externally) that will be fatal.

    Brakes locking up M923A2

A little air tool oil in the air system helps lubricate the various check valves in the M939's air system.
