I like it. It's no different than when you see jeeps with Jerry cans mounted on the rear bumper. On 5 ton or a deuce you will have more protection because of the bed.

That thing would make a really cool camper. You would not have to worry about anyone trying to break in.

You should also invite a friend along that has a 5 ton to help you just in case you get stuck. Or just post something on the site to invite other people along on your adventure.

I've seen guy's with some dogs there. Oh and pets are ok too if they are on a leash.
