Four 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts. The three seen in the pic and one more unseen. Two mount the bracket to the wall, one holds the winch to the bracket and more holds the winch to the back wall. The winch was designed to be mounted with two bolts. I didn't use the crap bolts it came with though...
Here are a couple pics of the light duty winch I put in the bed up forward. It's used to pull loads aboard, mainly the ATVs, but recently a heavy, 20 foot work bench. The mount is actually a L bracket bed mount from a deuce frame.
I just used an off the shelf gauge from AutoZone. Not exactly mil spec, but I put a crappy paint job on it so it looks like a bored soldier did the work.
It's a design flaw implemented by a hall monitor bully. You would know this if you used the SEARCH feature or read the TM. Lube your keyboard with GL1 and you shouldn't have any more problems.

Just loaded up my 20 foot work bench from my old garage. We even left the huge vice and grinder attached. Ran a 4 x 4 across the sides in the back and then tossed the 3000 lbs bed winch cable over it and down to the bench which was on it's side. A couple people helped lift and guide it in...
