Backspacing makes all the difference. I'm running re-centered 5 ton combat rims and 14.00's on my bobbed deuce and I've never rubbed anything and I have a M105 bed on mine and have gone in some pretty nasty stuff.
Change the wheels and you can run 395/85/20 tires with no modifications. They are 46.7" tall by 15.4 wide and are well liked.
Also a search will reveal numerous threads on this topic.
I have a friend that left South Florida and retired to High Springs and he absolutely loves it. Then again after living in South Florida Hel! would seem nice.
For Floridianson, in Florida Deuces cannot be registered as an antiques vehicles due to a 3000 lb limit on antique registrations. There is a similar registration though under the caveat:
"The vehicle described above is a Firefighting apparatus, other historical motor vehicle or former military...
The great thing about not wearing hearing protection is if you don't wear it eventually you won't have to due to hearing loss. In all seriousness I've been around things that go bang and boom for 15 years and always wear hearing protection in training (not feasible in real life) and still have...

Here's a good look at the bridge truck wheels and thier spacing. I'd check with Long's wheels and see if they can fab them up. I'm curious what a bobber would ride like with a set of dual 14.00's or 16.00's on the rear.
If it was optional I don't think that most users would have an issue with it. I just use a general part of the state I live in but know a bunch of FMV owners from this site alone. The logistics of this are a completely different issue and I don't know anything of it.

That's too funny. I took my F350 with a lift into my local place for an oil change one time because they were running a special and the guys said they couldn't do it because it was too big. Couldn't even imagine what they would do if I brought the Deuce in. I'm not a big fan of other people...
Santa must have needed the extra cargo room this year for all his presents for the good little girls and boys. That's a great idea I might have to borrow next year. :D
Just FYI, I finally had a chance to drill the hole out for the glad hand and emergency air lines to pass through the frame and it is a 1" hole. Thanks.
I don't think the wheels would be the issue with running duel 14.00's on the rear as much as the stress placed on the studs, hubs, axles, ect. ect. but hey give it a try I'd love to see it.
