Cucv III / LSSV loaded and on the way home

Cucv III loaded and on the way home You are gonna love that truck. I really thought about buying it and thought it was a good buy @ $15k. I'm glad it went to someone on SS though! I just got some mud on mine for the fist time this weekend!

Steps / Nerf Bars Added to LSSV

After I switched to 33" tires, I decided I needed some step rails to help the young and old enter the vehicle. After looking over several designs, I found this "six step" design I liked. The steps run from wheel well to wheel well and provide a convenient 3rd step for getting things out of the...

Can 2 m923 trucks without tarp & bows fit on one transport trailer?

Can 2 m923 trucks without tarp & bows fit on one transport trailer? Yes, I have had 2 M923 USMC trucks hauled on a step deck. Trailer had ramps, but we used docks to load and unload. Green truck was disabled so I pulled it on with Tan truck using a towbar.

    HMMWV wheels on LSSV

The interior is really clean. This LSSV never made it to Government hands. It was originally sold for civilian use straight from a dealership.

    HMMWV wheels on LSSV

Thanks for the input on color. I have always liked black wheels, but I'm going to put some thought into 383 green. I have a few mods/accessories coming that will be black, so I'll wait and see how it all looks together. I have used 2" bolt-on spacers in the past on M1008s to run HMMWV...

    HMMWV wheels on LSSV

I didn't like the 245 tires that were original issue on the LSSV so I decided to try some HMMWV wheels and 33x12.50 tires instead. I used 1/2" spacers on the front and the front tires will rub (slightly) on the upper control arms (at full lock). I think it looks a little more proportional now...

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

I bet you have more money in batteries than a lot of people paid for their trucks! I just replaced two yellow tops in my LSSV and they are spendy. You are first rate, first class. Carry on.
