Have a 96 M35A3 truck with reinforced cab and gun legs with ammo trays. The cab has the two AR gun mounts with sockets on floor. Did find a water bottle with arabic writing on it in the cab, so guessing this truck was overseas for parts of its history. The passenger side window has a rather...
It seems like a good way to blow all the winter dust out too. Nice looking duece you have. Perhaps the top and the winter kit go at the same time.
Jerry cans look great on these trucks.

Warm here in Minnesota. Time for going topless and found it to be a simple procedure. The soft top on my truck is a bit brittle and had a few holes and lots of Kuwait dust stuck on top of the windshield frame. Took here out and discovered the truck feels about half its size as compared to top...

Looked at her last night-doesnt look to bad. The rear up rights are loose.
New starter spins the engine like mad-its really nice. I will give heads up-maybe meet at a DQ.

Lane,
Thanks for stopping over and talking electrical stuff and other good stuff too. Your truck is one sweet ride. I have seen a lot of A3 engine bays-yours is by far the best. Scott is the guy you want to talk to on MIL truck stuff-he is in Blaine and on here as tie6044. Would be great to all...
I took your advice-pulled the starter and solenoid out. It looks like the solenoid disc had a failed plastic washer. I could see back spking-charring all artound. Bought a complete new starter with solenoid from an SS member and installed it. Starter change out took little time and was an easy...
I believe I have a short somewhere.
I had a master battery switch. Made the cables myself. When it didnt start, I thought perhaps I soldered them poorly or maybe the switch was bad. Took the switch out and returned negative to buss bar on batt try-thats when she started to get hot and smoke...
Truck has run fine. Went to run it today (has been raining hard for two days here in MN), and it started then just shut off. No power anywhere. Check battery terminals and all tight. Found the three curcuit bearkers but no reset on them. Have no electrical-lights, nothing. Any suggestions?

I have gone through two A3 fuel systems.
What to do. First, take the elbow off the top of the tank-there is a check valve in it. It may be gummed up. Clean it so the valve-ball operates freely. Re-install. Open petcock on bottom of fuel filter. Stuff a rag in top of tank and gently apply...
You will need to change out the L-brackets. The kit is complete with all new bolts and fasteners as well. They are of different dimensions and are of heavier construction. Its worth the extra effort though. I really like the way it looks, though have not changed the batteries from under seat to...
