Looks like the rear had a high angle panard bar. The other bar with smashed ends looks like a cross brace thats in a fixed position.

Have considered a large chest tat-5" tall letters that spell my name. Wife doesn't think its a good idea. Further, it would be to hard to lie about the tat-I am an easy target as it is! It was either this or a large tatoo to be different. This was cheaper and painless. I didnt want the flared portion of thimble to be all that was holding the wheel on. Didnt have any closed end lug nuts!

Wheels are on-then thimbels on tight-then plates-then lug nuts. Its the same mounting as duals only the new plate is basically the outside wheel less the rim and tire. The mounting is identical to the stock way. Pete

Changed my M923 from duals to single combat wheels. When I went to put the rears on, I found the stud-lug nut issue. Came up with my own solution that emulates duals-same thickness to allow me to use stock lug nuts. Made the plates out of 3/8" thick carbon steel. Bevel both sides of holes just...

I have used Armoral on the dash of my M35A2. I first washed it then sprayed it on. Still looks good.

Heavy sand on any rust. The POR 15 over the bare metal (this will seal the area from O2). Then DA with 100 grit-then POR 15 Marine clean, then a good rinse. Once dry-she it ready for paint! Remember-this isnt a show car-take care of the big blemishes. I let the little dents go. I hate...

Check the speedo against a GPS. While they can run flat out, 60 MPH is not actual. Mine was about 7 MPH fast. Put on a set of Goodyear 46" tires and checked speed-speedo now matches up with GPS. A3's are fun to drive...alot! Some quick items-windshield wipers can be adjusted out of field of view...
