Talking about NAPA and the airpack, when I asked one store a few months ago they said they could not order it. It was on their web site still though. I might try asking another auto parts place.
Let us know if you find where you can order it.

The fan hub for the M211 does not look like any of the ones for the GMC or Chevy truck fan hubs I have seen. So I will have to press off and on the old one for my truck.
It does come with the gasket.
When the guy at O'Reilly's keyed in the part number he said it was not at their warehouses and...
The Water pump can be bought at O'Reilly's they have to order it, part # 839012. Comes in a box that says Master Pro CP36. The cost is up to $89 now but it is totally new and you don't turn a core in.
If they need a vehicle to look up they can choose 1956 GMC 150 base with the L6 - 4.4L...
Working on Red's 1962 M35A1. Got the passenger rear axle out and pulled the hub. The bearings where poring axle lube and of course the brake shoes where soaked with oil. I found no evidence of a cork plug in the key way. I checked the axle vent and it is open. Cleaned it anyway and put it...
I think that is to make the surface where the seal rides smooth. There was a recent post on the G503 where a guy rebuilt a Jeep water pump and it leaked very soon. They where asking him if he finished the surface where the seal rode and he did not. Not sure what glass cement is. The threads...
Dave,
What frame is that? M105?
My m149 cross members are curved to match the profile of the tank.
If I end up using a M105 or M103 frame I would have to transfer the cross members..
I went to look at a trailer frame this weekend that a guy has.
it is a left over M103 frame. I took some pictures. when I
look at the pictures at home it looks like the frame is bent some
near the lunette.
I was hoping that I could use this to replace the frame for my M149 trailer.
To me it...
I really have not had time to check out the brakes but yes the brake lines and air lines are either gone or rusted.
But yes I would be interested in any parts to help complete it. Oh and I do have the man hole cover lid.
Here are the pictures. You can see the bend in the frame. So this looks the same as the M105? Seems I have seen diffrent fittings on the M105 frames I have seen.
Good idea on my M105 frame. I could transfer the brackets from one to the other. Would be cheaper than seeing if a frame and body shop might could put it on their rack and give it a tweak. I will take some pictures. Alan
I ran across a M149 water tank trailer that is in good shape. I have seen worse left over trailers than this one. The guy was going to scrap it out so took a chance and brought it home.
It looks like at some time it was being towed and then some bone head backed it into a jackknife and kept...
Except for being shot up, over all the truck looks good. That engine with the valve cover removed does not look good to me. I would tear that engine down and rebuild it. No telling how much dust and dirt is in the engine.
You could use those orange lenses as covers for the front marker lights and use them like turn signals.
Are you going to keep them? I have been looking for some.
I was hoping to get the M211 started before the holidays but things just did not work out. It took longer to get things done that I thought.
I had to look into a bunch of stuff and I am glad I did. I started with changing the engine oil then the transmission oil. I pulled the carburetor...
I am following that start up process I posted awhile back. I have the plugs out and put the squirts of marvel mystery oil in the cylinders. I charged up the two batteries I already had so I have 25 volts. I checked it with a meter. I took jumper cables and hooked the batteries directly up to...
Yes the leather is too loose. It will slide down inside the hole but when it reaches the narrower part near the bottom it gets too tight. So tight you have to use pliers to get it out.
I got the e-bay kit as well and just completed my carb. I had to reuse my power piston as well. My old one was it really good shape but I could not figure out how to get that new one to fit. I could force it down in the hole but how was it ever going to move up or down. Next is to mount...
Here is what I have found and GunFreak might have seen this too. Except for the hydraulic outlet fitting size the 2500690 looks the same as the 2500685.
The outlet fitting size went from 5/18 to 1/2 inch. Not a big change. Since the other main parts stayed the same I would think the output...
