Yes, I drilled holes for the adapter trays. Be careful to see where the holes will break through, there are supports under the metal battery tray, you may have to scoot the adapters around or rotate them 90 degrees..... The holes in them are not symmetrical so you have to drill for the position...
We plan to do it in one day. Last year we DID have breakdowns.... Jim ("The Recorder") started spraying coolant and we stopped for 20 minutes to move and tighten the upper radiator hose, and later I broke one of the 6 metal fuel injector lines and started spraying fuel. We were on the side of...
I don't doubt that air in the lines can cause some odd symptoms, but surging? ....It's not like a carbureted car that will speed up as it leans out and starves for fuel, but who knows. The older I get the less I know. It's sad, I was such a genius when I was a teenager.
To me it sounds like...
Are you sure it's ENGINE oil? I remember that Spicer originally recommended 50wt, but I would assume that meant 50wt GEAR oil.... Engine oil doesn't have extreme pressure additives.

Hi Group,
It's time to start planning for this year's West Coast Convoy to Camp Delta at Tower Park!
The plan is to head out as early as possible on the morning of Wednesday, April 21st to arrive early afternoon in Lodi. We plan to head back sometime before noon on Saturday the 24th so we...
Schedule conflict! I can't believe you guys always do this on the weekend of Tower Park. So yet another year I will miss Camp Dirtbag.
MVCC Camp Delta @ Tower Park
Instead of missing the West Coast's largest MV show, we should be having a big convoy, like the East Coast guys do for Aberdeen...
Awesome! Did you get your Spinner installation done yet? I've been too busy lately and hadn't logged on in a few months.
Personally I don't think the bigger model 960/96SE will be a problem.... 1 gpm or 2 gpm, both are only a small percentage of the oil pump's capacity, and with the automatic...
That's what I do too. I add one quart of 2-stroke oil per 50 gallon fill-up. Even pump diesel these days is hard on mechanically injected diesels..... Modern common-rail injection systems are not as sensitive to the fact that lubricity is just not there anymore. Two-stroke oil is cheap...
The solenoid is on the starter but the starting relay is on the block under the exhaust manifold above the starter. My truck occasionally does this after sitting for a long time, where the relay will click but the solenoid on the starter does not engage...... Repeatedly pushing the start button...
Hi Walt,
Call some other places if you need to, but I'm pretty sure you're not going to find that at NAPA..... Memphis Equipment, Boyce, White Owl, Antelope Valley and others will definitely have it in stock.
I recently did my pan gasket when I installed a bypass filter oil return line fitting...
Hi Group,
Zenith never got back to me and stopped responding to my e-mail. Oh well, I doubted they were going to be able to help much but I'd prefer not to be left hanging.
My NOS Mechanovac Speed Unit arrived safely from Vietnam today.... Awesome! It's in brand new condition and has a tag on...
In addition to making sure all components are in top-notch condition and that the system is properly bled, as recommended above, your brake pedal return spring is obviously missing or broken. It connects the clevis pin on the brake pedal bell-crank to a sheet metal tab with a hole in it...
Awesome! I'm borrowing a hydraulic bead breaker (the manual kind) right now to do the tires on my V-18A/MTQ..... Your method looks faster and easier, it takes me about 20 minutes per tire!
