    All the electrical problems I've seen on the trucks I bought were related to incorrect installation. Wrong relays in the wrong place, incorrect circuit breakers, 2 Alternator regulators wired up backwards.. loose connectors etc.. I'm beginning to think that "Electrical gremlins" these trucks are...

    Trans ecu location differs from WTEC II and WTEC III. WTEC III the ECU is located under the relay panel.

    Just a note, the throttle stop screw adjusts max RPM.. I've always been a bit nervous doing this, if you want more fuel but keep the same rpm limit the rack needs to be adjusted.

    If you have an overhead crane or very tall cherry picker you can life the cab from the rear.. When I did it I disconnected the hydraulic lines to the lift cylinder. It made a mess.

    Check the throttle cable. The three M1078's I've had all had the cable off by about 1/4-1/2 inch preventing full throttle. To adjust back off the nuts holding the cable to the bracket. Then pull the cable taught against the governor arm. Tighten the two nut to keep the cable in that position...

    Interesting how one "wins" and auction. I always though it as "loosing" at an auction because I was the dumb guy who was willing to pay the most for something unknown.

    The MTV front axle and the MTV rear axle is the same, the center one is different as it has a different 3rd member.

    Looks like the governor/fuel unit was partially removed. IT could indicate other problems.

    Far right knob controls air output. The rear slot send air to the defrost register. Fresh air intake is on the bottom.
