I can agree with that. A good rebuild and tune, 400 is possible. I mention "terrible" because stock they are about as good as the 4.8 . For the about 300 more (here in TX, don't know about else where..) you can get a 6.0 lq4 or lq9 engine with a 4l80 and ecm/harness.

No, I don't worship 6.5s. Just mentioning that a cam swap on a 5.3 won't get you to 400.

5.3 is a terrible engine. And 400hp just from a cam swap? ....no.

I live off the 45S and 610 area, so Im pretty centralized. I dont mind the long drives at all. I have been out to your area several times, my brother lives off 517.
