    High water brake issues

Thanks a ton for tips guys. for the time being I have been popping it in reverse and pumping the brakes to get a few noise free miles while rescuing. It keeps creeping up every few miles. Tried banging in the backing plates and prying with a screwdriver but no luck, nothing fell out. Tomorrow...

    High water brake issues

Hello everyone, I'm here in Houston. Today volunteered all day with Harris County high water rescue. After a full day of 3 plus foot water , the last part of my trek I noticed a squealing metallic sound while rolling. My estimation is debris in the drums (lots of stuff floating around ) or a...

I am about to install a 5.3 gas burner

I can agree with that. A good rebuild and tune, 400 is possible. I mention "terrible" because stock they are about as good as the 4.8 . For the about 300 more (here in TX, don't know about else where..) you can get a 6.0 lq4 or lq9 engine with a 4l80 and ecm/harness.

I am about to install a 5.3 gas burner

    No, I don't worship 6.5s. Just mentioning that a cam swap on a 5.3 won't get you to 400.

I am about to install a 5.3 gas burner

5.3 is a terrible engine. And 400hp just from a cam swap? ....no.

Painting my m35a2 think the color is off.

I agree with Scar59, looks like the Hulk. Leave the back unpainted and get a bumper sticker that reads, "You dont want to see me when Im angry.." haha

    Tire hop

Toaster is a good guy. Hope you get it figured out soon. I got my truck from him too, been very happy with it. I had some tire out-o-round vibes at first, but after playing with the pressures and rearranging the tires it disappeared. Ive put about 800miles on it too, so I think that evened out a...
