I'm thinking of getting a radio for my trucks restoration. What was the most common radio for the vietnam era m35's? About how much would i expect to pay? And where could i find such a gem? other than e-bay? What kind of range should i expect from such a set up? Were they reliable? And would i...
Does anyone have the timkin part numbers for the inner and outer weel bearings and races? And the weel seals also. I would like to get all the parts before i tear it down. Does anyone know about how much they cost? Thanks
The TEXAS military museum reopened in a former GSA site in Houston. I checked it out today. It was pretty impressive. Plenty of trucks and armor! The adress is 8611 wallisville rd. just in side of loop 610. If you get a chance check it out , it's a great place to take the kids.
I was looking at some pics of members trucks, and Red Devils Dude's truck had some sort of shelter in the bed. Does any one know what kind it is? Mabye where i could get one? It would save me from buying a M109.
I installed my new lockout hubs today. Man what a difference!!! I don't know how i ever lived without them. I'll be changing to a air shift T-case as soon as the weather allows, i hope that helps too. I can't say they were worth every penny but pretty close.
I was looking at firestone's S. A. TRACTION ND in 10.00-20 load range G as a possable relpacement for the ND's my truck came with. Has anyone tried these? Is there a better choice?
After spending the weekend sermerged in muddy water the gear oil the the axles look like milk. My truck has the deep water fording kit ,witch pressurises the bell housing with air when you throw the fording valve. I'm thinking of plumbing air lines to the axles and T-case to keep them water...

After spending most of last weekend reclaming my Deuce from the mud hole in my back yard, i decide to install a locker in the middle axle. I'm worried about snapping a axle shaft though. I often run the truck heavly loaded on the highway. Has anyone experenced this? Thanks
Is there any way i can make sure my injection pump hasent been converted to diesel only? Other than dumping gas in the tank and crossing my fingers?
Thanks.
