I too like the IH, and unlike the Cat, you don't need special tools if you work on them yourself. I agree there are lots of the IH'S out there and parts cost less than cat. Had a DT466 in a dump and it wore the truck out! Keep us posted Andy.........

Ejc I use EJC (electric joint compound) ,trade name. Works great, but unlike a wheel bearing, it just takes a little and it really helps. It is also for dissimilar conductors at the same terminal, ie copper and alumnium, ect. Andy................

My buddy has access to some compressor crankcase oil (10 W), BUT, it is contaminated with ammonia.
