Like using a 1/8th E-6011, because it is a fast freezing rod and it is impervious to “some rust and oil“ . You could use a E-7018 but the weld surface has...
I think it would be good enough to get you off the trail or back home ware a proper repair could be made. Good to keep in mind for those times when the sh@# hit’s the fan.
I feel your pain!! It take a big man to admit that he messed up and this is a small screw up so pull up your socks and move forward. It was looking good and will still when your done. Keep up the good work and don’t get to down on your self!
Just some handy things to know that might help you down the road. I have this and the TM's from Jatonka on file and add to it when someone here on S.S. posts up something useful.
Things You need To Know About The Truck
Lights
The numbers are standard, even NAPA knows them:
Running lights -...
10-12 mpg.
1 Hills and flats.
2 waste motor oil, tranny fluid, diesel and bio diesel.
3 diesel fuel gets the best fuel mileage for me.
4 michelin xzl 11R20
5 23/2500 rpm.
6 I don't go over 2500 rpm, it will let me go over the red line. 58 to 60 mph.
He was taking pictures of the truck with his phone at the light so I gave him the finger point and on green we went all out!!! I had him for the first 3ft. LOL
2 Questions: (1) will the michelin xzl 11R20 work on a stock deuce rim (safely) and (2) can it run in dual configuration? I read that the tires are 11.8 inces wide.
If this has been asked before then this post should be removed.
