Has anyone ever made a set of cargo bows? uprights, corners and bows?
I just bought a cargo cover and I need the bow set, but at over $400 for a set that is too much for me to spend.

The front output shaft on a M135/M211 turn the opposite direction then a M35 T-case. You could use one from a WW2 GMC CCKW but the load rating is less. How ever seeing how those trucks were over loaded during the war you probably won't have a problem.2cents

1942 GMC 3 ton truck, The 6cyl has been removed in favour of a 327 with a 4 speed and a two speed rear end.
The light is a carbon arc light and power is from a Hercules gas gen set.
