The one mentioned in the classifieds here is super nice, I bought one, thing is designed for marine conditions. I think its 35amp, so it'll run everything you mentioned and more.
Seems like it would be a lot more difficult to powdercoat something the size of a MV. Only experience I have with powdercoating requires it be heated up to about 400 degrees. For initial new parts I don't see this being a problem, but to refinish one later down the road, that's a big oven, or...
Hmm, as of last week when I tagged another 71' A2 it was required. I tried to take that avenue, and they called the "tag office people" in Atlanta to seek a resolution. Atlanta folks said it was needed to show release from government. YMMV. Maybe you'll have better luck.
Still have to have the SF97 to tag it in GA, bill of sale isn't enough. Have tagged 2 A3s, and 2 A2s in GA, always required the SF97. And the ladies at the tag office actually like me!
Anyone done it, or seen one? I'm planning to add one to my crew cab build, was just curious if anyone had seen it in an A3. I figure there might already be a compressor setup for the Cat engine. If not, may use similar setup to what Clinton did in one of this crew cab A2s.
