Help with firewall and heater box threaded holes...

To add a bit more info to my first post: I thought the holes in the heater box might have been the same size as the others on the box, but after removing a nearby screw... and... trying to put it in the hole (indicated by the orange arrow) it did not seem to be the same. I did not force the...

Help with firewall and heater box threaded holes...

Hi Folks... I'm still busy trying to get the deuce in shape for my NJ to AZ road trip. I'm way behind schedule, but... I am slowly making good progress. I have hit a 'dead end' in trying to figure out the thread size and type of a pair of holes in the deuce firewall... and those in...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Hi Tracer... It seems to be a good location, but making up the bracket was a bit tricky since there's an angle (as the clamp sits on the exhaust) that made my design more complicated than I had originally expected. I'm not sure that it's the same on all M35A2 exhaust stacks, but I'm guessing...

It's actually lightweight aluminum. My first 'creation' using a metal other than steel!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well... I've been working like crazy to prepare my deuce for my NJ to AZ road trip. There just are not enough hours in a day, or days in the week for me to make the progress I'd like. Seems sometimes like I advance at the speed of a two legged turtle! Anyway... I recently made and...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

Just in total. It did a nicer job and was very lightweight and easy to use. I liked it so much... I bought an additional one (for a backup).

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

I used the HF spray gun and did not thin the paint at all. I do not recall the exact pressure I used, but it was likely higher than low. I remember when I tested it at lower pressure... it tended to 'spit' at times rather than spray cleanly and evenly. Hope it helps. Have fun with the gun! I...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

When I'm east... in South Jersey, I get most of the things you listed at an awesome place in Glassboro, NJ. It's called, Joseph Fazzio Steel. They've got everything and anything! I get lost in there. It's almost as much fun as walking and searching through a 'salvage yard'. I get all my...
