If a stateside LMTV is woodland camo it probably did not serve in AFG or IRQ. LMTVs that did go were painted tan by the unit that was deploying. Many of the trucks that did go to the desert ended up staying in theater due to cost of transporting them back and forth. The ones that stayed in...
I appreciate that. I sent you my phone number on my last PM. You can call me after 1500 your time or just PM me the instructions. Impressive work installing all that commo gear on your rig.
Thanks again,
Joe
I have a drivers side antenna mount I purchased on ebay by accident. I needed a passenger side mount. If interested PM me and I will sell it to you for what I paid for it.
I am planning to install a 24vdc to 12vdc inverter in my truck to use 12 volt accessories such as a CB radio. I understand that I need to ground the radio to the inverter due to reading other posts on SS.
I have removed all the internal tuning mechanisms of the antenna base and cut the antenna...
Gents,

3. Its a big jeep that can go almost anyplace.
4. Helped our local state park with some environmental Eagle projects.

Thanks for the education. I am adding that project to my to do list. Since I am in North Carolina that project is going on the top ten. Thanks for sharing.
Joe
I had a charging issue with mine. During numerous trouble shooting routes I found the anomaly. I had a broke grounding wire on my voltage regulator. It broke about an inch away from the VR, and was hidden by the intact shrink wrap. I would say it was diagnostic brilliance on my part however...
Here are a few pictures of my LMTV being used to haul benches and duck boxes for two Eagle Scout Projects. War Pig had no problem following the Ranger in his Gator. Scouts and Scoutmaster had a great time mudding with a mission.
