I know this thread is six months old, but I just experienced this exact issue. The truck built air fine during the pretrip inspection, but lost air during driving and would not build air again. Thanks to ARYankee's advice in another thread, I checked my air dryer filter and it was loose...
Thank you ARYankee. I had the same issue with my M931A2, the truck would not build air. The truck was fine on the pretrip inspection. It built air quickly and was venting excess air. I got about ten miles down the road and the low air buzzer came on. The resolution to my problem was also...
Have you attended a fall rally before? I think you will be alone for a winter rally. I've spent many below freezing nights in the back of my deuce at fall rally's and I could not imagine adding snow and ice to that. Hey, post away, at least you won't have mosquitos!
I would never bob a deuce. But when you buy a deuce, you own it and can do whatever you want to it. If you can't afford to get into the hobby because of bobbed deuces, then you simply cannot afford the hobby. Find another hobby.
I'm more upset about the thousands of good running deuces that...

Any chance the M931A2 has two 50g tanks and not 65g like the TM says?
I just filled an empty tank and it took 45 gallons. I know the fuel gauges aren't reliable, but that's off by a lot. Also I average 6.5mpg when I've been told I should get close to 10. If the tanks were 50g, it would be...
