x2 on Tow4's kit, good stuff. Found here.
Step by step instructions are found in the TM-20 and a good thread to motivate you: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?146703-CUCV-Alternator-Rebuild&highlight=
Right back at you .
I have more questions than suggestions, but I feel a different thread might attract other members who are much more in the know than I.
If you do this, may I suggest adding to the above information:
Did you check clearance between starter pinion tooth and...
Wishing you a quick recovery.
I installed some seat covers from Jatonka.
I waterproofed them with 303 fabric guard, came up short with something for UV protection, still looking.
Painted rear cargo area, spare tire mount and inner tailgate, replaced tailgate cables and filler neck gasket, installed jerry can holder for the tool box and a weatherstrip seal kit, also cleaned the windows.
You can buy it from here: http://www.flynndist.com/products/wild-dog-1-gallon. Too bad about the hazmat fee, maybe buying in bulk would justify the cost, seems to be a good product.
After you torch the pins outs, Auto Zone has a tool in the loan program that has helped me, might help you.

Jack Lope,
Have you tried using the search function in the parts manual? This image is from the -20p. I found the page by searching for pitman, next page has usable part numbers.
Your local auto parts store should have what you need.
Nice work! I like your idea and would like to do something similar; a question if you don't mind. How does the 12v voltmeter automatically switch?
Thank you
I can share what works for me.
I perform a search in the -20p with the part number I'm looking for, in your case 9440280, then I follow the search results back to the sections titled "Cross Reference Indexes" and the NSN is available there. In this case it is 5305-01-203-2289, then it's a...
Thank you, no stress on my behalf. Their catalogs arrive every month it seems, I was curious who patronaged.
...and it always will be.
Times 2 on AAhabs wishes.
Sorry to read about cancer/rot hopefully it's not that big of an issue.
About your seals, if I'm not mistaken you purchased a kit and then pieced together the missing ones. If so, may I ask whom you purchased them from?
Thank you.
I'm sorry I didn't explain myself very well. I completely agree it would be a bad idea to feed your air dryer from the bottom of the reservoir tank. All air dryers should be happy ones.
This picture may explain better what I was trying to, it has worked for me.
Yes, either a drain pipe...
Nicely done GE.
A thought for your consideration, if applicable: Hook your shop air compressor reservoir drain plug/line to your new auto drain tank valve system. By doing so both the dryer and the reservoir can be drained by the same set up.
Disassembled, cleaned, inspected, replaced seals and lubed speedometer sleeve, cable, adapter and gear. Nicht mehr needless needle bouncing!!
Similar process to tailgate handle, latch control and latches. Before and after picture of latches.
