I do not know if you can see it very well but this tool box is on my CCKW in place of the spare tire. I keep the spare in the box bolted to the front and it just fits between the troop seats. Eddy

Lockers are great but one thing to be very aware of is that if you are on a side slope with lockers you can slide sideways downhill very quickly if all the wheels slip it happens very fast and can lead to lots of trouble very very fast. Eddy

They entered service about 1952 and were still used in the Militia units until the late 80s. Almost all of them were made in Canada and had the auto trans. I have only heard of a very few with manual transmissions and almost all of them were the fuel or water hauling trucks. Eddy
