    DUKW vs. Pickup

Driving a DUKW you cannot even see anything unless its over 20 ft in front of you so the driver prob. did not even see the truck coming at him. I hope everyone is OK and it all works out. I let a guy who was interested in buying my DUKW drive it a little and he almost ran over his own car if I...

Help with ideas for picking up my newly purchased M923a2

You can get a cheap tow bar that will just handle the jeep for less than a $100 bucks from Tractor Supply or Harbour freight and put a pintel on it or get a real MV tow hook for about $300 that will do much more. Make sure the truck is in shape for the trip, no point in doing damage to it on the...

    Trade a 84 936 for a 97 Hummer

The clone is not a true Alpha and will never be worth what an Alpha is. I cannot remark on what the labor will be worth to rebuild the Hummer but you know what your truck is worth to you. I would imagine that rebuilt and finished the Hummer would be worth up to $50K if it has a salvage title...

I hope you get yours swimming and running and enjoy it a lot I did mine unfortunately I cannot use it now I just am...

Its no trouble at all to handle the cheezy fries just add enough salt to get your blood pressure high enough to pump that much grease through your system. Eddy

Crank has me all cranked up

New oil pump. I do not know if they line bored the block or not it was done at a local shop that does very good work but mostly on competition motors for dragsters. All the bearings look scored but only the first is really bad. 60 over is where we had to go as it was scored last time too. They...

To Drive Home Or Not? 89,000 Mile M1008.

If you are going to drive 89000 miles home I say NO send it by spaceship. However I now see its 170 miles. I would tow it home with a tow bar and check everything when its home and then you will not get any expensive or unsafe surprises on the trip.
