Great, good luck on your recovery. You could also have went with a 30 day temp permit, as long as the vehicle is unladen, and not hauling any cargo. So for your commercial insurance, how much does it cover, and is it for personal use only? Would like to know more about this option. Would be good...
Is your 925 running super singles or duals. With super singles I would strongly recommend a civilian 5th wheel to keep the height of the trailer level. Also before you mount it, check the clearance between the wheels and the landing legs at a tight turn angle. Also you will need to make an...
Excellent work once again. The tile counter top sure ads to the whole look your going for. So will the microwave run off of the inverter from the batteries, or will it only be used when the generator is powered up?
If you contact this person for pickup, and the cellphone signal drops, just give him a few minutes and try again. The cellphone coverage is not so good in some places around his location.
U-ship is Uship.com, and carriers bid for the load. I use Weeks Trucking out of Texas. He does weekly loads between California, Texas, and New York. Send him an e-mail at weekstrucking@yahoo.com. He will usually respond within 1 day and give you a quote. Be sure to give him the dimensions of...
Rayzer,
I used laminate for counter tops in the squares to cover the plywood. The counter top material matches the one I used for the kitchen counter. I did run the 120V wiring in the opening behind the baseboards. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will be able to get some time to start working...
Tommys2patrick, Thank you, but must of my build out is a from ideas that Rayzer did to his M146. There will be differences I do in some of the materials. You should go through Rayzers M146 build to be truely inspired. It is a learning experience for all of us. Create a link to your build when...
Looking forward to the pictures when the trim work is installed. The Atwood RV three burner cook tops are a nice size for the kitchen counter your building, and found on many auction websites for a decent price.
Awesome, great way to join the Steel Soldiers in keeping a military vehicle restored. Your idea of joining a Trade school to learn how to restore vehicles, and work on this is amazing. Keep up the good work and post your progress. I am sure many people with the large military trucks and trailers...
I know this is an old thread, and there are many of us that would like to here about the final setup and installation you did on this AC system for the M915. Can you post some pics, and a some information on things you had to do to make this work. It would be greatly appreciated.
Looks great. Sometimes it is good to have a little time in between each time you work on your project. I know for me, it helps to thoroughly think through what I want to do. Keep up the excellent work, and posts.
I will send the name and phone number of a gentleman that works there and does this on his days off. He offers pickup, storage so you can go and get the items on the weekend. He is picking up my items today. PM sent.
Made a small amount of progress this weekend, as I had two events to go to with the trucks this weekend. I did get the kitchen counter top installed and the Sink installed. Once I put the faucet in today I will post some pics.
I did get the bid on the storage containers out of Hooks, that I...
Great looking. What is that at the front of the trailer on the inside? Looking forward to seeing the other one, and seeing which one you start the build on. I seen those at Indy, they looked good as well.
Just wondering if there is anyone in the Hooks (Red River) area that offers pick-up help and storage of the product until the weekend. I could drive up to your location on the weekend after they are picked up. I won three lots of fiberglass boxes that I will use for the storage boxes under my...
