Not boards, but a timber crib. There used to be an expediant jacking procedure where you drive one axle of the tandems up onto a crib to lift the other axle. Personally, I own a jack. I have a mechanical ratcheting one, but an hydraulic one can be had from the Chinese import places (Horrible...
You should be kinda glad it didn't. ...when the front tires rolled out, and the rear end dropped, bending the boom jacks and possibly (probably) killing whomever was under it.
The rams arent sized for powering down, and lifting from the center is seriously overloading your boom.
Just drive...
I shut off, but that is because its a good walk to the cashier. Also, I think we should call it a P-Brake, 'cause if you are in an emergency, and you pull that lever, it still is!
Allison makes some of the best automatic transmissions in the world for OTR use. That said, there are some companies making "Allison" transmissions umder license, and have had questionable service life.

The appropriate manual is TB 43-0213 (too big to attach). I have to repaint a freshly restored truck. Seems the lacquer based stuff the paint shop used isnt sticking to anything related to CARC. The manual sais to strip to the meatl, seal, and prime. But you only have a limited time to do...
The F4 was the US's proof to the world that even a brick can fly if you put a big enough engine on it. And an M816 will float, as long as you can keep that boat under it.nopics

It is a straight "air brake" trailer. That is most likely a parking brake -releases air from the spring chamber applying the parking brake (straight air brakes usually have at least one axle that will apply the brakes in the absence of air, preventing a roll-away)
Nice Trailer!
